I have enjoyed, in the past and was looking forward to going again. A few days ago, it was disappointing. The food was basic, nothing special and way too expensive! The waitress was not friendly and seemed like she was in a rush even though only a few customers.
Food is delicious & service is over the top!!!
Margarita on the rocks is the best!

Chavolo's Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for fresh and tasty Mexican food, offering both indoor and covered outdoor seating. The ceviche special, Chili Relleno, steak meals, and bean and cheese burritos are standouts, with fresh and tender ingredients. Guests can enjoy warm chips, fresh salsa, and delicious strawberry margaritas. The tacos (ground beef) were excellent, and the guacamole was also very good. Crispy tacos are very good! Service was very friendly, and the staff were very kind and attentive, welcoming everyone with a smile. Chavolo's is a must-try for visitors and a favorite Mexican restaurant around Bayfield.
