Great food and service!
The sleigh ride (pulled by a snow cat) is such a fun experience for children and adults. The staff at Allies Cabin were warm and inviting. We had a beautiful table for 6 along the window and near the roaring fire.
Food was generally very good. Standouts were the sea bass and the pork as well as the venison and the pasta with boar. Avoid the lasagne which is just too cheesy. Risotto was great. Nice wine list by the glass and great cocktails.
The ride up and down was nice on the snow cat. Blankets were provided but you still need to dress warm. Be prepared that the food is VERY expensive here. It was good but I wouldn't consider it excellent. The hostess was awesome, good personality and welcoming. Our server on the other hand put a damper on the whole experience.
