I want to start off by saying our server Cory S. was the ONLY positive experience we had at this establishment. He was ride or die for us and did everything in hus power to make sure we were taken care of 100%. We waited for our food for 2 hours! The kitchen misplaced our ticket and rushed to get our food to us. The food was absolutely terrible for how expensive it was. The bartender was MIA and our server made our drinks for us. And the drinks were honestly the best part! They did end up comping our entire meal because of our experience, but we made sure our server charged us a service fee so we could tip him generously. Again, Cory was absolutely incredible and made our experience worth while.

We've been dinning here for years, this last dinner was a total disappointment. We have ordered the prime rib numerous times and it has always been very delicious and worth the price. During this dinner we ordered prime rib and it was a total waste of money. 2 orders none eaten more than half way. The cut was cooked well done in areas, rare in some and medium well in others. Over cooked and undercooked all in one cut, for both steaks. Sides were delicious and service was great. We will be returning because out of all the dinners over the years this has been the only time we've had a bad meal.
Ashton is a great waitress, very knowledgeable, professional and personable! The food was marvelous and presentation beautiful!
Completely disorganized and understaffed. Though had a reservation the maître de sat 2 parties that checked in after me for the same reservation time, we just wound up sitting in the bar area. Service was slow and inattentive due to being understaffed. Overall professionalism, hospitality and ambiance fell so short of expectations.
Slow service. Took 5 minutes to have someone take our drink order. It took another 15 minutes for my wine to arrive. We don't eat pork and ordered the side of Brussels sprouts, and the Brussels sprouts had pork. The menu should have mentioned that. We ate our meal with only steak, no sides.
Fantastic service from everyone. Cory our server was top notch. The food was amazing as well. Great place to have our Christmas Party dinner. Thank you!
This was our favorite restaurant for many years. Lately, it's been so bad that everytime we go, the place is empty because the food is so bad. Stop changing the menu and bring back some of our favorite dishes.

The food was OK, our medium steak was cooked extra well done. We got the receipt and they double charged me for our scallops. They charged . Mediocre food. Not fine dining.
Cool spot, food wasn't good. Especially with the price. Should've been cheaper then put back if the food isn't good. I stayed at the monarch and should've ate in that hotel. Way better flavor on food
The space is very nice and good ambiance. However the food that we ordered was below expectations. The fish was overcooked and dry, the chicken marsala was more like backyard chicken meal with gravy. I would expect the steaks would have been better, but we chose the other meals since we had steaks recently. Probably would not go back unless I'm going to eat some steak. Drinks were good and our waitress was nice and attentive, just disappointed in the food we received.

For a restaurant positioning itself as fine dining with a $300+ price tag, the experience fell shockingly short.
My steak had no seasoning whatsoever—bland, lifeless, and nothing like what you expect from a steakhouse. The plate looked as sad as it tasted: wilted greens, a single unseasoned steamed carrot, and a mysterious brown sauce slapped on both plates. Visually unappealing, and unfortunately, the flavor matched.
On top of that, my martini glass was dirty, and the service felt more like a dive bar off Colfax than a luxury dining experience in Blackhawk.
The only saving grace—and the reason this is a 2-star review instead of 1—were the honey-glazed carrots (not the sad carrot that came with our meal) and the lobster tail, which were both actually enjoyable.
If you're going to charge fine-dining prices, deliver fine-dining quality. Right now, this was nowhere close. DO BETTER

Good food and service. Was seating quickly with my reservation. I Like that being a rewards member I received a food voucher and was able to pay with my points.
Food is AMAZING as was the service. The atmosphere does not match the prices or food. It needs a serious update. There says there is a dress code on their website so we went and bought clothes to accommodate it and there were people in cut off shorts, leggings, etc. so that was a waste of money for no reason. I paid a fee to reserve a booth and needed to change times but could not get anyone on the phone so I had to cancel the reservation online, lose out on the fee, and rebook. Over all it was good food but they need to update the restaurant and the website so information is accurate. Looking at the reviews, I notice a downhill decline in the past couple years.

Having been a server and front of house manager for ACTUAL fine dining, this is not it. Not In any way. Crabs cakes were burnt, not much crab in there and not much flavor. Crab bisque was like trying to eat crab in runny poaching liquid. Not a soup. Not even close. We split the delmonico, ordered the crab legs and smashed gouda potatoes. Meat was chewy and not very warm. Bernaise sauce was cold and congealed, not warm and silky like it should be. No bacon on the potatoes. Kitchen does not have thier shit together. I pisses me off to pay high end prices for sub par food. And I know the difference. It felt like we were in a hole in the wall dive with a fancy interior. Save your money and go to the monarch. My kids can cook better then this.
Our server, Chad, was fantastic. Its hard to be a server when food goes back and the kitchen is in chaos.
No management support. If I had a table, as the manager, that sent 3 items back, I would have been over to that table immediately.

We had a filet and chicken marsala. Both were delicious but there is always room for improvement. Our server was good but we have had better at Roxy's. The restaurant is dark and was quiet. My biggest problem with casino restaurants is the price. I miss the days when the food was good and cheap and was a perk to draw people in. Overall it was good.
