Lucille Malone's @ The Gilpin Casino (Must be 21+)

Went Lucille Malone's at the Gilpin Casino in Black Hack, Colorado, on June 10, 2025 for dinner at 18:23 according to the receipt. Had to get someone's attention which took about 5 minutes, just to be seated in a restaurant that had only 3 people seating at a table beside our booth. While we waited for our order there was yelling from the back about having to remake someone's order. When got our food about 15 minutes after we ordered. I got steak and lobster, my steak was about 1/4 inch thick, over cooked and tough and the lobster was so so. Never saw the waiter again until he gave us our check. Never asked to refill our drinks or asked how our food was. Went up to pay our check and the cashier was on the phone and never acknowledged us, we waited about 10 minutes for her to get off the phone. When she finally got off the phone we told her we only had one drink and not two, she verified that with the waiter so they fixed the receipt. She never asked how our meal was or anything. Just took our money and never said anything not even a thank you. Save yourself from this kind of treatment and by all means by pass this place. Not worth all the head aches.

First time here, and I love it. The portions are great for the value. My wife and I spent less than $50 for an app, two drinks, and two entrees. The service was awesome and super friendly. We will be making this our lunch stop while we are up in Black Hawk gambling.

Overall, the Food was good. I had French Toast and it was a lukewarm when I got it but tasted good. Im sure it would've tasted even better served hot.

After a day of casino hopping we decided to drop in for dinner. Seated right away, friendly waiter, good menu, we were both happy with our meals and even happier with our bill. Without a doubt the best and cheapest meal of our trip.

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. We started by waiting over an hour for food to come out. Once it came out, the food was ice cold. We let them know after taking a bite of prime rib and they put the meat back into the au ju that was in the back after taking a bite and let us know that.(completely unsanitary and disgusting). The meatloaf was also ice cold. However, the banana pudding was great. This was just the food. The staff was also rude. The only good part about our experience was the bartender down at the casino who was the only friendly one in the building. If I were you I’d take my money and eat bar food at a different casino as the bar food tasted better than what looked like was a nice restaurant.

The steaks were stringy and tough. The lobsters ? were overcooked and dried out. To many new staff members did not know the job very well. A few told me they were new and still learning the job.

Was seated and then never got service. Tables seated after received service. Multiple servers walked right past our and didn't even greet or acknowledge we were there. What was it about us that you all thought we didn't deserve to be waited on. We're regulars and locals, so I really don't understand the treatment. We left after 30+min of watching parties seated after us be waited on while we were ignored. Seriously what was it about my wife and I that warranted treating us lesser than others? Why did we deserve that level of discrimination? Called to speak with a manager, was connected with Dave, who immediately transfered me to a voice-mail without even listening to me. This was some horrible customer service.

Really low quality food. The steak my friend ordered was so tough I couldn't even cut it... Not sure how they think people would want to ever go back... I know I won't be...
