Everything was excellent, but my husband and his friend ordered a drink and they came out at $46 which was shocking.
Exemplary service. My son and I had reservations for a birthday. Food was impeccable. Incredible birthday dinner.
My boyfriend and I dined here on Monday evening to celebrate an early Valentine's Day. The service, food, and ambiance were all top notch! Our waiter, Dennis, and other wait staff were perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Dennis made some great recommendations and made us feel very special. My Chilean sea bass was so generous and delicious, and my boyfriend's prime filet mignon was prepared perfectly as requested. Everything from the bread, salads, soup, entrees, wine, and dessert was so flavorful and tastefully presented. Thank you very much for a delightful evening! We would highly recommend the Monarch Chophouse for any special occasion dining experience!
This restaurant is truly a gem! The service, atmosphere, wine list, and food are simply wonderful. Highly recommend the bison carpaccio and tableside Caesar salad.
We have dined here several times, but things were very off from the moment we arrived. Despite our reservation, we waited 20 minutes to be seated. They even admitted that they "forgot about us" at one point. It was an hour later when our entrees arrived and they were cold, oversalted and massively disappointing. I doubt we will dine here again.
Celebrated hubby's 60th! Steak Diane prepared table side -incredible! Whiskey sours and old fashioned were prefect! Smoooooth. The meat quality of the filet mignon and the steak Diane cannot be beat! The service was excellent. We drive from Conifer to frequent this restaurant-about an hour. Its well worth it!
It was an amazing experience for my husbands birthday. I highly recommend for anyone celebrating a very special occasion. Above and beyond service.
The service was exemplary! The food was excellent! The electronic menus were cool and the electronic wine list was a wine lovers dream! They're sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful! We now have a Blackhawk restaurant that we will be craving!
Celebrated my wife's birthday by enjoying the food, atmosphere and service at the Monarch Chop House. Had a lovely meal and enjoyed it thoroughly .
Went here for the first time to celebrate 41st anniversary. The food and service and attention to detail was off the charts. I cant express enough what a special time we had because of the service. Made us feel so special. Definitely will go back.

This was my wife and my second time celebrating our anniversary at Monarch Chophouse, and it was even better than the first. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, and a huge thank you to the chef and the entire staff for such a warm, personable dining experience. Monarch Chophouse has officially become a new tradition for us.
Amazing work as always, love the attention to detail. With the rest of the hotel had that kind of service.
Nice ambiance. The first entree was the sea bass which was overcooked/dry as if it was just warmed up. I sent it back to do Filet Rossini since they’re known for good meats. I was hoping for redemption but unfortunately it just wasn’t as good as I hoped. I do expect my entree to be relatively hot coming out. The beef was not nor was the glaze. I travel for food and this was disappointing. I hope the chefs get better and others do not have the same experience as I did.

We ate at this place 2 years ago and it was a lot better then. We went last night and for a fairly expensive steakhouse the food was pretty terrible. The carrot soup had a great flavor but was served lukewarm warm. The beets / goat cheese wasn’t really a salad but just beets scattered on a plate with the cheese - the beets were not ripe / were very hard. My husband and I shared a bone in ribeye. It had zero flavor and was kind of just gross. The brussel sprouts were decent but were slathered in oil and a sauce on top that was just too much. We also had the truffle scalloped potatoes - flavor was good but potatoes were undercooked.

Lovely evening dinner on Christmas Eve. The steak was done perfectly full of flavor. French onion soup far too salty lacked lightness to feel/see and enjoy onions. Broccolini was charred to the point it tasted like ash. Couldn’t eat it. Cocktails all good including specialty peppermint espresso martini, dirty gin martini and red wine.
