Hemi and Vic were awesome! They made us feel special on our anniversary and treated us like royalty. I would highly recommend this place! It's great for celebrating special occasions!

I would like to start off by saying that I don't fancy myself a foodie or some sort of food critic - I just genuinely did not like this place. I don't normally have high food expectations, and I'm not one to complain about food, service, etc.
That being said - I feel like the cost of this buffet and the type of food that they offer, the restaurant itself sets higher expectations for you.
The service here was awful, and it had even slowed down a lot after we got there.
We did not even get our water until after we were almost finished with the buffet entirely. I went in thirsty to begin with, and went through several plates of dry, rubbery, overcooked food (that I did not finish), before I finally got a single glass of water.
Our plates had disappeared between trips, but never got more than our one eventual water, and never got the tools for the seafood.
The salad bar was mediocre/lacking, which wouldn't have bothered me otherwise, but just kind of added to my bad mood at that point. Especially since I had given up on all the main course foods had decided to just fill up on whatever was at the salad bar...
So my final plan was to at least treat myself to a course of desserts and leave on a good note that way. I grabbed FIVE different cakes and things and every single one was dry, hard, and not even that good.
I cannot even explain how disappointed I was at that point. I've never met a cake I didn't like and I'm not even that picky overall.
I lost some money gambling and I was not even upset about it, but I was ACTUALLY upset about this dinner.
I will never eat here again. For the price it's not worth the risk.

We visited Monarchs Buffet for
Brunch and the food was great. My husband and I took my Parents for my Dad’s birthday. Upon leaving we decided to grab a dessert from the dessert area. We enjoyed our dessert in the dessert area a left a plate on the table since our table had already been cleaned. As we are walking away Laura came out screaming at us the take the plate we left on the table because that table was clean. We advised Laura that the table we came from was already clean. She continued to yell at us that she didn’t care to take it and put it on “our” clean table??? Umm ok …. Way to ruin the last moments of our visit. Very rude and disrespectful. Especially since it cost a pretty penny to eat there. Would imagine the service would be top notch.
We ended up just leaving the casino since that is very embarrassing to be screaming across a buffet.

If i could i would give 0 star !
Worst buffet experience we’ve ever had.
We went to the buffet at Monarch Casino and paid $60 per person. We didn’t even put most of the food on our plates .we tried one or two small things just to see, and everything was terrible. The food was not fresh, dry, old, and had no taste at all.
In the end, we only had one orange juice, paid $130, and left. That should tell you how bad the food was. There was literally nothing we could eat.
Not worth $5, let alone $60 per person.
Never again.

Stayed at the resort and decided to try out the buffet. $60 per person and probably the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Choice are pretty limited.
Brisket was extremely dry and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The Pho and everything in the Asian cuisine was extremely salty. Steak was alright, but nothing to brag about. The only thing I enjoyed was the Mac and cheese and the salmon.
Desert selection seemed decent.
I’ve been to the grill on the casino floor a few times and that place seems to be much better in food quality and service.

This is the best buffet that I have been to on a Sunday. The lobster and crab legs are cooked perfect and they give you several clusters! There is other food options as well and they are good too. ONE THING….EVERYWHERE should have diabetic friendly, sugar free options and this buffet does not.

Wow! Prime rib was well flavored, as was the rest of the food. The lobster was so tender and just melted in your mouth.
Do not sleep on the macaroons. They are some of the best and most perfectly flavored I ever had.

I went there with my family to celebrate my birthday, we were a big group of people and more people were coming so we stayed more than an hour in our table, after the hour the server just stopped giving us refill of our drinks and only offering refills to the new people in our table, they even stop looking at us coming at the table, they were only picking up our plates, and the manager was looking at us and pointing in the most rude way, each people on my table paid $60 per person so the least they can do is treating us nice, or let you know at the front that there’s a limit of time, btw there wasn’t a line outside of people waiting so that was not an excuse, the food was not good, we all spent the night with acid reflux. My family couldn’t even sing happy birthday to me because of the way they were looking and treating us. Super disappointed with the staff.

We tried this buffet and the selection was great. I’d recommend the prime rib and the steak, they were cooked perfectly. The salmon with butter was also tender and delicious. Lobster tail was medium sized. The guacamole was also great. Great variety of fruits and desserts and our waitstaff was friendly and quick.

Variety 9/10. Taste 2/10. Decently priced and a wide variety of food that all blends into each other. Service isn’t great and they’re only serving drinks.
