All Tops. While at a night🌃 over at blackhawk colorado we wanted seafoodđŸ€. Looked at the surrounding casino buffets & We found this seafood extravaganza. Best ever. Fresh feast. And great French Onion Soup and breads too. Between the two of us it was over abundance. We had a few blue cheese martinis🍾 and ManhattansđŸ„ƒ too... and Wow!đŸ€

This place must have new cooks, servers and managers. The food was terrible including hard rolls, a warm salad with ice cold chunks of bacon. The crab cakes were pure mush and not prepared as described on the menu or how they were in the past. The steak was ice cold and the asparagus were not cooked or prepared as described. I strongly suggest eating across the street, this after years of going there.

The server was rude and food was mediocre for the price.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and it was scrumptious!
Timberline is on the casino floor of the Ameristar Black Hawk Casino. My bestie brought us here for a relaxing getaway and birthday dinner for my mom. She, as always, picked the perfect spot because we had a great time!
The restaurant was busy as all get out so there was a slight wait for our table but the hostesses checked in with us several times. The kind of great customer service I appreciate.
We were sat a few minutes after our reservation time in a private booth in the front area of the restaurant. Our server, Jessica, was slammed but made sure to touch all of her tables.
She came over with water and since we’re starving we ordered our drinks and food all at once. She brought over fresh bread and butter which was warm and yummy.
Our appetizers came out: squash blossoms, scallops, crab cakes, and bone marrow for the bestie. We devoured everything and made a lot of satisfied food sounds.
We were able to sit back and digest before our entrees came out. She ordered the 3oz wagyu and we ordered the 8oz salmon to share. The sides were ala carte so we ordered the asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, and mashed potatoes to share.
It was all so good. Everything was cooked to the requested temps. The sides were perfect! Can’t even truly describe how perfect this meal was. We all sat back and sighed when we were done. The sides were a generous portion so we have leftovers.
Jessica brought over the dessert menu
we glanced at it but none of us had any room for more things.
Well done, Timberline and staff, for a delectable experience.

Maria behind the bar did her best since she was alone and trying to manage the drinks and take orders. I don't fault her. The bone marrow appetizer came out after our prime rib. We denied it. I want that impressed with the prime rib but my liked it.

Disappointed to say the least. Ordered salads, cold smoked wagyu filets, boursin mashed potatoes. Salad was soggy and bare, filets were had to saw through, 99% sure they tried to pass off a low quality strip ( that’s being kind) for a $70 filet, never even brought the potatoes. When brought to the attention of the waitress she apologized and seemed very frustrated as though this was how her entire night was going. They did remove one steak and the potatoes that were never brought but that was it. For going out for a birthday celebration expecting a nice dinner and experience it was a complete fail. I have seen people compare Chilis but honestly had way better experiences and quality at Chilis for 1/20th the price. Save your hope for a decent meal and spend your money elsewhere.

My husband and I decided to take a quick escape to Blackhawk and we had a lovely dinner experience at Timberline! Our server was amazing! She was helpful in making recommendations and even made some adjustments for me based on my dietary needs. The management stopped by to ask how our dinner was going and we just felt very cared for. 10/10 will return! Thank you from the Stewart’s in Lakewood.

our service was absolutely horrendous, the server checked on us one throughout the whole time there only because i was asking for her to ask about our food. we ordered the seafood sampler and every single thing besides the oysters were frozen solid and not edible unless we wanted to chew on ice. (photo makes it look good but it wasn’t edible) i brought this up and the waitress just apologized but didn’t do anything or offer us another one, substitution, etc
by the time our drinks came out we were almost done with dinner.

Delicious dinner at Timberline! Enjoyed the Snake River Cold Smoked Wagyu Filet, with a delicious glass of Clos du Val Cab. Jairo (server) was exceptional as was the entire dinner experience. Chef cooked my filet to perfection, always a little tricky with Wagyu but he aced it! Highly recommend, and there are new items on the menu to keep it interesting.

Bravo. The food, service and ambience were top quality and first rate.

Staff was friendly. Attentive. Quick to correct things. They knew the regular customers and it was a treat to see the family type interactions.

Extensive menu. Staff were keen to facilitate subtle ways mebers of the party requested their food be prepared. Beverages were kept filled.

Overall a very fine dining experience. I highly recommend this establishment. It's a must visit while spending time at Ameristar Black Hawk. You'll enjoy it. I'm sure you'll be glad you went.

If Chilis or Applebees were fine dining this is what it would look like. Personally I’ll never trust a restaurant where it is considered acceptable to be anything but sharp when orchestrating high end food safety and guest experience standards, so for me it says something about a restaurant when you see managers drinking then table touching with guests. “Ten minutes, ten minutes” is all you can hear as the bartenders shout at guests because of how loud it was in there. It’s a joke this place exists
