Accidentally booked our Christmas eve dinner at our favorite restaurant for the 26th. Last minute had to find another restaurant. All of Boulder completely booked. Luckily Apertivo had a spot. Food and service were great. Nice place off the beaten path.
We went for Thanksgiving. They actually offered a traditional turkey dinner, but we opted for pasta. it was delicious. It's in an apartment complex, and it was easy to park. It was a bit of a hike from Commerce City, but worth the drive.
Food is pretty good, but they always run out of the wine on their menu. This is the second time they haven't had something they advertise. It ruins the overall experience. The place also has an unusual smell when you walk in. I can't quite place it, but I think it's a mixture of cleaning products used to mask some of the dirty water smells. I have worked in restaurants where a “dirty water smell” comes from the dishwashing equipment. They probably aren't...
