I debated whether to write this review, but the steep price of the meal ultimately made the decision for me. For the hype this establishment has received—particularly from its Triple-D episode—the food and overall experience fell well below expectations.

Let’s start with the food: it was just okay. Nothing stood out as remarkable or deserving of the acclaim. The one dish that managed to intrigue was the deviled eggs, but that’s where the interest stopped.

The Poutine Fries were a major letdown. What was served can only be described as basic french fries drowned under an unappealing glob of gouda and mushroom gravy sloppily thrown to the side. The presentation was downright unappetizing. As for the pork schnitzel? It was passable but again, utterly unremarkable—hardly worth the price tag.

Beyond the mediocre food, the atmosphere was equally disappointing. The staff's attitude was noticeably disengaged, creating a negative energy that was apparent to everyone in our group. It was as if they didn’t want to be there. Whether this is due to the restaurant being open 7 days a week or some other issue behind the scenes, it’s no excuse for the lack of professionalism and warmth.

For a $200 dinner for five, I expect not just better food but a higher level of service and hospitality. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed on both fronts. Save your money—this place does not live up to the hype.

Came in during The Christmas season and I have NEVER been in such a wonderfully dreamy and Christmassy decorated establishment!! It was so, so cute and everything we had was delicious! We came in for apps and drinks and got a holiday cocktail, the pretzel, and a devine apple strudel dessert! You will not be disappointed if you decide to stop in!

The atmosphere is perfection. The christmas decorations are a delight! The service is abysmal. After about 12 minutes, we got our own menus. Then the waitress finally came over and was just rude and would barely speak to us. We would ask a question, and she would not answer. It was odd. We would say something, and she would just walk away..no words just walk off. This happened a few times. It was very odd. The hot chocolate and cola took another 10 minutes to get, and it was just water and chocolate powder. Lots of water. Maybe the waitress was the only employee there? She really hates her job, and it shows. The food was ok. A fried pork cutlet with 2 slices of lemon on the side and some capers. A cold Ruben. The place is so wonderful to look at. It's a pity about the rest. They were not busy at all but we were there an hour and a half just to get 2 meals and chocolate water

Pretzel & beer cheese was the best I’ve ever had! Beers were great. Goulash was too chunky, and the burger was typical. The atmosphere was the best.

Restaurant was lovely, the service excellent.BUT my rueben had
had way too much fat attached to meat. Biting into flabby fat is so disgusting. i ended up pulling apart the sandwich to take out the fat.

Disappointed.

I've been coming here from time-to-time for 7 years, and I've always recognized all of the staff during that time. I have always been satisfied (or impressed) with the service, enough to accept the sharp increase in prices over that time.

This visit, I recognized nobody, the service was sloppy, and everybody working seemed more than a little on edge. Clearly, something has happened.

The food and atmosphere remain impressive, I think I'll give it 1 or 2 more chances, but if this is really how Bohemian is now then I won't be coming to Bohemian any more.

A restaurant I will continue to return to. Their braised meats and spaetle, pretzels and beer selection are next level. You can tell they put hours and extreme care into the proteins and even down to the four different mustards. The setting is in an historic building in Boulder and their decor is so welcoming, especially during Christmas. The service is always excellent and just overall spot on from every angle.

I flew 1500 me across the country so I could visit this restaurant. I am pleased to say that I am not disappointed. I had the pork schnitzel and it was cooked perfectly. The potato salad was like none I've ever had the flavor was very different and very delicious. The staff was very inviting and answered every question I had.
