Every dish we had was amazing.... This restaurant is very unique and cool inside. Loved it!!!
There was a small amount of vegetables with the entrees - in our case, four people shared a medium bowl of vegetables, which I would have liked to eat by myself. For a restaurant where the farm to table story is there main draw, the limited availability of vegetables (especially with respect to the entrees) was disappointing.
This is the 2nd time we have been to Bramble & Hare and I don't believe we will be back. First of all, for a farm to table restaurant, I would expect the server to tell us a little about the farm and about the dishes. She never said anything, just "are you ready to order?" She didn't describe any dishes, or make any recommendations. I felt like we could have been at a diner. The appetizers were good, but the entrees were average at best. We thought pairing duck with lentils was not a good idea; and one of our guests was sick all night after eating the pork. There are a lot of other restaurants in Boulder and this is not one of our favorites.
This was a wonderful dining experience! Cozy atmosphere with 60s music, attentive waitstaff, delicious food. Couldn't ask for more!!
Bramble and Hare was absolutely incredible! We were welcomed with bubbles for my birthday and the warmest, brightest energy from the staff. From the moment we were seated to the moment we left, we felt truly special — as if we were the only table in the restaurant. The food was phenomenal, and the farm-to-table concept shined through in every detail, from the creative cocktails to the delicious dishes. Bramble and Hare is perfect for a small, intimate evening that guarantees 100% satisfaction with every sip and every bite.
Ambiance was fantastic, the place felt very cozy and the seating was very comfortable. All of our food was amazing, and the service was quick and thoughtful. The noise level was comfortable, quiet enough to have a conversation, but loud enough to provide for a nice atmosphere.
If patience is a virtue, then this restaurant is clearly designed to test sainthood. The wait for a simple drink was laughable—long enough to make me wonder if they were distilling the liquor out back by hand. And when the drink finally arrived, the liquor brands were so obscure they felt less like curated choices and more like clearance-bin oddities no one asked for. The staff, meanwhile, seemed less interested in service and more in auditioning for a second-rate dinner theater. Every order was an exaggerated performance, every gesture dripping with an exhausting, over-the-top theatricality. It would've been funny if I wasn't sitting there stone-cold sober, waiting 25 minutes for an Old Fashion made with some brand of bourbon I can only assume was imported from Mars. Dining here isn't an experience—it's an endurance test. Save yourself the time, the money, and the unnecessary drama.
Great farm to table experience, it showed in the quality of the ingredients. Only wish the vegetarian options had a form of protein but overall was great and helped us celebrate a major event.
We were celebrating our anniversary which the restaurant was wonderful and called me about. They asked for many details which was very thoughtful, so I assumed we'd be sat in one of the romantic alcoves or love seat tables. That was not the case unfortunately, when we got there we were sat at a small table between the waiter station and kitchen, not not the fun closet of the kitchen. The part where we stared at the dishwasher, and dirty rags catching whatever liquid was dripping off the counter all evening. We asked to move saying we would wait for a new table, we were not in a rush, but they said they didn't have any other options available. As the evening went on, our wine came after we were already halfway through our dinner. We both had the pork which was overdone. At the end of the night, they gave us each 2 chocolates and a card that said happy anniversary, but that didn't feel like it made up for what we were hoping to be a cozy and more intimate experience. Overall, disappointing, but the beet salad was delicious.
We had a thoroughly splendid experience. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. We had a quiet table in the corner of the second room. Nathaniel, our server, was knowledgeable and fun. It was a great evening.
Restaurantji Recommends
We were excited to try this restaurant, but our server did not start us with a good impressions. They were unable to talk about the menu or give us recommendations. The food was good, but a bit overpriced. We have waited nearly 40min to receive our first drink and plates.
The restaurant is beautiful, the food is exceptional and the service outstanding! Highly recommended
The wait staff was excellent, friendly, and very attentive. The food was prepared well and it was good but not amazing for the portion sizes or price . Dessert was the best course.
Great food, service and room. Onion tart was a bit disappointing— but everything else was great as was our waiter.
Food was very good and the service was amazing! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our evening memorable.
