The hojicha latte I ordered was absolutely the worst hojicha I have ever had, it was all milk with no trace of hojicha. I basically paid for a cup of milk without flavor. The matcha was decent, but service could be improved, as I felt the baristas could be friendlier overall. For place that is supposedly Japanese inspired, I would expect the hojicha to be at least detectable in the drink.

Lately it feels like getting food out just isn’t worth the dollars. Places want to give less and less while charging more. But here is an exception. I’m never disappointed when I come here and order onigiri or a pastry and a latte. Great quality. Thank you, Dry Storage.

Awesome coffee with a smooth texture, delicious crunchy croissants 🥐, and a nice Asian-style congee.

Best croissant in Boulder! Hojicha latte was expensive but also delicious with plenty of milk foam. I loved the fizzy matcha and the croissant sando too.

This place tries to be Japanese fusion food place, but it doesn’t quite get there. The food’s pricey for what you get, and it just feels like an imitation, not the real deal. On top of that, the staff didn’t seem to care much — kind of cold and unfriendly. When the food’s so-so and the service isn’t welcoming, it’s hard to feel good about the whole experience. I do not recommend this place.

Perfect pastry+coffee breakfast spot. Flat White with a light roast was made to perfection. The pastry is among the best I've had in Boulder.

The Japanese Breakfast here is a can't-miss. Great coffee and baked goods as well -- and cute seating areas, inside and outside, to boot. Strongly recommend!

This is a hidden gem in Boulder. Coffee is amazing The atmosphere is very relaxing and the people are great. Now that that has been said, let's get down to the real reason for the review lol. I am gluten intolerant and was informed that I could eat there bread. I have not had bread in 2 years. I have now eaten two of their loaves. Not necessarily the cheapest place but they use damn good flour and it does not hurt. If I could give a 10 out of 10 stars I would!

This is one of my top 2 bakeries and top 3 coffee spots in town. Good baristas with sometimes exceptional pours. Strong croissant offerings, chill vibes

I don't know how this place doesn't have 5 stars; they definitely deserve it. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the baked goods are top-notch. If you are there for breakfast, I can't recommend the croissant sando enough - it is phenomenal. The onigiri was also very tasty with great presentation. The honey chai latte I got was perfect. Definitely will be back. Get here early so you don't miss out.

Cool hybrid bakery and Japanese breakfast/lunch spot. Things like miso soup alongside pastries. It definitely works. They serve Devocion coffee out of NY which is a favorite roaster of mine.
The menu and quality feels very thoughtful.
Plenty of outdoor seating for warmer days.

Dry Storage has a really unique vibe and great menu items and drinks. We got the croissant sandwich and onigiri, both really good. Their drinks were also high quality and delicious. It was a bit pricey, we spent $50 for two people. Great brunch spot if you want to treat yourself.

Lattes are amazing here, great spot to hang out
Spectacular coffee. The 7 min egg was amazing. Croissants keep getting better. Music was a little loud for my taste, but everything otherwise was great.

I really love everything about dry storage, but there is one thing that keeps me from going there more often…. In every pastry and food served, there is a slight flavor of a cleaning agent that I cannot escape. Unfortunately it is always there, and it is the same “clean” flavor that you smell upon walking into the space.
I don’t want this review to hurt dry storage - I more just hope it brings this to their attention so their products don’t taste like they are infused with a little bleach.
Other than that - 5 stars!! But please, please fix this issue!!
