The food, service and ambiance were all good to very good. The paella was done better than anywhere I've had in Colorado. They do not seem to understand that tapas are small plates. For example, the meatballs were 4 to an order. 2 would have been sufficient and they could gave charged 40% less. This was a common thread with all of the tapas. They could have cut the portion size of every one of these dishes and charged less. We would have tried more items and been happier with the value.

Overall food quality was average. For example, the croquetas de chorizo were comparable to Totino's pizza rolls—didn't even use bechamel, and the flavor of the chorizo was sadly masked by the added idiazabal. Poor culinary choices. Gemini certainly receives more hype than it deserves.
