Best sandwich shop in Boulder and a huge menu with a ton of vegetarian options. There is something for everyone and can accommodate most dietary restrictions. The tempeh cheese steak is me go to and my wife loves the big apple.

Bomb diggity, the tempeh is fire! Their selection is awesome, there's only two places that commit to vegetarian sandwiches with passion and this is one of them and heck, if you want a sluricanna to go they got you!

I really REALLY wish this place was in Denver or at least closer so I can go more often. I love Half Fast. They are one of my favorite sub shops of all time. With over 100+ sub choices you cannot go wrong. We walked in pretty much right after they opened and were greeted by two very nice gentleman. They were helpful with sub suggestions. Getting me out of my comfort zone of the Godfather. I actually tried something new this last time and although I wouldn't get it again, I still enjoyed the sandwich. I am glad he talked me in to trying something different. I went with the Albuquerque turkey. The flavors were awesome, the turkey was really good but the salsa is what threw me off. It was just weird to me. otherwise, if you like spicy, this is a great sub for you. I didn't expect the kick it came with. Also, there is something to be said about getting your own pitcher of margarita or strong island iced tea. Those things are fun! I can't get enough of this place and can't wait to go back again and again.

Great place for a quick meal. This last time around it took a while to get our sandwiches. We were pre-informed about the delay though.They have ample space to sit, but it can get busy during certain times. They have outdoor seating also.Their sandwiches are definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been to this place many times while living in Boulder for the past eight years, and never once had it disappointed! I adore their BLT (though I can’t remember the name they have for that sandwich) and it’s always cooked to perfection. And their drinks are great too!

No frills sandwich shop on The Hill. Massive menu. Almost overwhelmingly so. Got the 7" Dagwood. It was tasty!Vegetarian options: Tempeh and more.
Half Fast Subs will always be one of my go-to sandwich restaurants. The menu is huge and the variety of sandwiches is impressive. I always have a hard time choosing what to order but no matter what I decide it is always delicious. The service is also exceptional and the food never takes long. Definitely recommend for a local like me.

Came up to Boulder to pick up my daughter and stopped here again. This is the best sub restaurant. Love this place! The Big Apple is the best sub ever created. They will get my business every time I come to Boulder. By far my favorite sub shop!

Have gotten takeout here twice now and both times everything was just above average. The sandwiches are all pretty good, but I think there are other sandwich shops around that are a bit better. Also, some of the staff is awesome, but others seem a bit rude and aloof at times. I am gonna try again but get different sandwiches in the hopes that they’ll win me over eventually.
