About Cafe Aion

Cafe Aion is a charming restaurant offering French cuisine with a touch of Spanish influence. The paella, which takes around 45-50 minutes to prepare, stands out on the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the option to sit by the fireplace. The food is tapas style, with marinated olives and hummus receiving high praise for being flavorful and fresh. The staff is attentive and accommodating, creating memorable occasions. Guests enjoy dishes like charcuterie, house Paella paired with Spanish wine, and their signature cauliflower. The overall experience is described as divine, with delicious, elegant, and authentic dishes served in a warm and efficient manner.

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, even with last-minute changes. They are patient and attentive, working seamlessly around guests. The food is excellent, with highlights like hummus, truffle fries, trumpet mushrooms, and beef ragu gnocchi. The cauliflower appetizer, steak frites, and peach crème brûlée are also praised.

Cafe Aion is a go-to restaurant in the Boulder area, known for its delicious, masterfully prepared, and beautifully presented food. Favorites include the paella, trumpet mushroom tapas, hummus, papas bravas, and Brussels sprouts. The Aion burger with Brie and bacon and the house-made gnocchi ragu are also highly recommended. Reservations are advised as the small restaurant fills up quickly.

The food was outstanding!! My husband and I have been to Barcelona, Spain and this chef did a fantastic job capturing the flavors of Spain. Very well thought out menu and the food did not disappoint. Tanner was our server and he was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed his hospitality. We plan to come back with a large group to try their paella.

Cage Aion never disappoints. Every item on the menu (which changes seasonally) is worth trying and some are outstanding we repeat them over and over. The cozy atmosphere is inviting year-round and especially in the winter. Service is unfailingly attentive but not intrusive. It's a favorite!

One of the hidden gems of Boulder. There aren't typically nice restaurants on The Hill, but Cafe Aion is the notable exception. Super friendly staff, a great atmosphere, and excellent food that you won't find at other places in town, like delicious Paella. Given the location, it is rarely too crowded. Nice outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
