So if you want to order food during non-peak times (like, I dunno, Tuesday at 2pm), you're probably going to have a fine experience with HungryBuffs. If you want food during a standard meal time, good luck. They will provide a ridiculously precise 15 minute window (why do this if you know you can't possibly meet it?!) and then if you're exceptionally lucky, you will receive a lukewarm meal about 30 minutes after that window ends. I've experience that a few times and it's fine.The problem is, if you AREN'T exceptionally lucky, you will have to monitor the delivery map so that when the driver disappears, parks for an hour, etc, you can contact customer service to request that they bring you your food sometime within 1-2 hours of the promised window. Otherwise it legitimately might never come. After ordering HungryBuffs at 6pm, I've had the restaurant call me directly because they're closing at the end of the night and want to know what they should do with my food. Seriously.And yeah, you can't get a refund. They'll just offer you $5 off your next order, just to make sure you really understand how trivial they find this kind of failure to meet customer expectations.

This is the worst delivery service around. This is the 3rd time a delivery has taken over 2 hours, even though the restaurant I ordered from is right down the street. Then they claim not to give refunds when you try and cancel, so I now have to dispute the charge with my bank. Use Nosh instead. It's local too, apparently Hungrybuffs doesn't care if their customers get their food hot or at all.

The last two times we have ordered through HB, our order has arrived missing items. The latest was tonight. We called HB and let them know we were missing one dinner. The HB rep was supposed to call the restaurant, find out what happened and call us back. Never heard back from HB. I called the restaurant and let them know we needed the rest of our order delivered. An hour and a half later no food. The restaurant is closed as well as HB. I will no longer use Hungry Buffs or order from Ali Baba. Terrible customer service.

This service has gone way downhill. They do not give refunds apparently? I tried to cancel order after 2 hours. I ordered at 11:45 am and received the food at 2:15. Just use Door Dash, they have much better service.

Would love to use Hungry Buffs because they are local and service restaurants not on the national delivery services apps but their app is subpar at best. They also leave money on the table for themselves and the restaurants they service. Their menu has only once shown breakfast burritos at Cafe Mexicali and that was after I called them to ask why the breakfast menu was not showing up.

Ordered food at 7pm. Called restaurant at 8pm, they said food was ready and they were waiting for driver to pick it up. Using hungry buff’s tracker, we could tell the driver had still not picked it up by 8:45pm. When we asked for a refund, we were told they don’t do refunds. Never using this service again.
I was shocked to learn they expect us to pay for food that has been sitting around for an hour and a half. We tried to refuse delivery (a full two hours after the order was made), but the driver left too quickly. Incredibly disappointing. The restaurant we ordered from offered far, far better customer service than Hungry Buffs offers.

Ordered an hour and a half ago and our delivery guy is still about twenty minutes out. This is the third time in a row that this has happened. With the added cost of the delivery/processing fee and the tip, it's just not worth it to wait two hours for cold breakfast food. As other comments have stated, save time, money and food quality by just picking up the order yourself!We used to use hungry buffs all the time, but never again.

The last time the driver picked up my food and passed my house and left town (thanks to the tracker I could see this) 40 minutes later and lodel didn't have a good answer as what happened and only gave me 3 dollars for compensation for a bad meal experience.

“Alicia” stepped out of a purple car in a tutu and a wig....oh and a full blown beard. Alicia delivered our pizza over 2 hours after we ordered it. Hungrybuffs SUCKS. Worst delivery service ever. Pay an Uber to get your food over this service.
