I really appreciate the intention behind this place and wanted to love it. The concept is great, though the experience unfortunately fell flat for me.
The menu felt a bit scattered and not very enticing. It was hard to understand what flavors would pair well together.
I ordered the green chili. It initially came out lukewarm and had to be sent back. When it returned it was extremely salty. It honestly tasted like a year’s worth of salt in one small bowl. The pork inside was also surprising. Instead of pulled pork, which is typical in most green chili, it contained chunks of ground pork which created an unpleasant texture.
I also ordered the chicken quesadilla and did not realize it had pesto on it. The flavor combination with the green chili did not work well and the quesadilla itself was not very good.
After eating I ended up with one of the worst stomach aches I have had in years. My heart rate went up and my tongue had a strange sensation similar to the reaction I sometimes get from MSG. I do not know if any was used, though the reaction felt similar. The stomach ache continued for a couple of days.
My friend came with me because she has several food intolerances and was excited to explore the menu. She ordered the cauliflower, gnocchi, and the almond brownie. The brownie was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The roasted vegetables with her dish were also very good.
The cauliflower dish was a huge portion and unfortunately not very good. The gnocchi was also disappointing and she only had a few bites. The next morning she woke up with red spots on her skin that seemed like a reaction to something she ate.
I truly appreciate the idea behind this restaurant and the effort to avoid seed oils and offer alternative ingredients. I just wish the food itself had matched the vision.

The pumpkin spice cake is to die for! The gratitude, dream summer salad, the curry, bliss sliders, the loyal, the enormous breakfast burrito and some of the soups, just splendid.
Their breakfast meats are particularly great, clearly on the more natural side.
They have some fun and unique drinks as well, not the best coffee. And wish they had chicken or turkey breakfast meats.
Greatly appreciate the allergy friendly menu

Great food! Very accommodating of allergies. It’s rare that I can have a meal straight off the menu! I’ll be back.

This review is based on a deal for GoodieBag app. Never heard of this place before but an offer came up on the app for a chicken salad that is regularly $30 but is $10 for pickup. I figured a big container of chicken salad. After a good experience with a bbq restaurant that had a similar offer and was fantastic so I took a chance. Got there and looked around at first. Well lit and open design. Some parking but had a warning that if you stay over 2 hours, before prepared to find your car booted by the property owner. Fine by me. The menu was weird on a display with no prices shown. Red flag giving market value vibes. Looks like you self order on tablets instead of with a cashier. They brought out the salad. Look at the picture. This was regularly $30? It looks at best $15 if it tastes great. One corner of chicken, one corner of just cheese, one with assorted veggies and the other a dressing. The dressing turned out to be a very thick paste. Not really a dressing if you have to smear it in a the food. The vegetables are ok but the jalapeños turned out to have no heat or even flavor. The chicken was bland. If I had paid $30 for this I would have made this one star. Their menu didn’t have this on it so may have been a special item that I guess no one liked. At the $10 I paid, I feel I saved a couple dollars only. Their menu had some stuff I might sometime try but the lack of flavor on this salad has me saying that I wouldn’t make a special trip to try them.

This is an offshoot of a courageous concept restaurant started in Denver focused on healthy, responsibly sourced food. But honestly, all you need to know is it's delicious.
Just hosted a 10-person meeting, and we ordered Just Be. Everyone was thrilled, especially with the person who ordered the spicy cauliflower for the group.

I ordered “cauliflower wings” and what I got is essentially cooked cauliflower with some buffalo sauce. A shame for $10.
Such a great place!

Incredible! Mike was super helpful, walked us through the menu and got us a great meal. The salad was super fresh, bright, and filling. The quesadilla with veggies was amazing, complex, and so satisfying! You have to try the brownie too! Delicious, can’t wait to come back.

Found this gem by googling gluten free. Everything is labeled for gluten & dairy free as well as vegetarian or vegan, plus others.Tania was so great in helping me navigate a citrus allery. My husband and I shared the tomato soup, burger and gnocchi. Also shared a brownie. All were excellent. Highly recommend.

I have visited this place before and I always have a great experience. The food is always delicious even with the dietary restrictions, so you don't feel like you're missing out on anything.
Tania is always very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and the ingredients of the food, as well as very friendly and she makes you feel welcome every time. She recommended the chicken cesar wrap and it was one of the best meals I've had!
I also ordered coffee and it was very tasty as well, just as if I had ordered it out of a coffee, if not better!

Mike and Weston are two awesome guys that make this bright space even brighter. These men pour their hearts into what they do and it shows. You can feel it, you can taste it. The ownership must be on it to find and keep two guys like this in their employ. Super grateful to be able to show up at an establishment and not just feel welcome but, also have food that nourishes me like, or better, then at home.
Go to this spot once and you will keep coming back.
And watch out- if you have the BREAKFAST BURRITO, it WILL ruin the rest of them in the Boulder area. So be prepared to say goodbye to your old favorite. Yes, it's that good. (See pictures if you don't believe me)
Thanks guys and thank you to the kitchen staff too.

Fantastic gluten-free restaurant. It's 100% gluten-free, 99% dairy-free and completely delicious. I return over and over because I eat a paleo diet and this place is perfect for me!

I visited Just Be Kitchen while in town, and although I appreciate restaurants that focus on healthy, allergen-friendly options, my experience felt underwhelming for the price.
I ordered a cup of the house soup, which came in a small ramekin for $7.75. The flavor had potential, but it needed more seasoning, and I found myself adding salt to bring out the taste. My daughter ordered the tomato soup with grilled chicken and cheese ($26.22). She enjoyed the soup — it was nicely balanced — but the grilled cheese was unexpectedly sweet and served in a tortilla, something she didn’t love. She said she would skip the grilled cheese next time but would order the tomato soup again.
We also shared the cauliflower wings ($9.99), and this was the biggest miss of our visit. They had a gelatinous texture and were extremely spicy. The gentleman working — who appeared to be the only person running the restaurant at the time (cooking the food and bringing it out) — asked how everything was.
I explained the issue with the cauliflower wings, and he mentioned it might be due to tapioca starch. He offered a brownie, which was kind, but I was surprised the wings weren’t refunded, especially since the plate was barely touched. Having been in management myself, I would have expected a different approach to guest satisfaction.
The environment itself is cute and inviting, but overall, the food quality didn’t quite match the pricing for us. Our bill came to almost $55 with tip, and based on what we experienced, it didn’t feel worth that amount.
I’m not writing this to bash the business — I think there’s potential here, especially for those seeking dietary-conscious options — but improvements in flavor consistency and customer experience would really elevate what they’re trying to offer.
