Elated that this is in Boulder (a sushi desert). The sushi was fresh and so delicious. My favorite was the scallops! However, to my taste the miso soup was too salty. The udon had a wonderful dashi broth. The taiyaki was so warm and delicious; perfectly paired with the vanilla ice cream! I came here to eat alone and had a great time. I love that you can be a solo eater here and have a great time! Service was very nice and everything felt clean. Cant wait to go back. A great addition to Boulder, my new go to sushi place!

Huge variety of options at a really reasonable price. This will not be your highest tier sushi but still very good. Fun animations on the tablet and you can always order directly from the tablet. Super user friendly and fun. Our server, Major, was fantastic. Super friendly and attentive. Definitely make reservations but you can do walk in. You get a ball with a charm when you eat enough plates of food.

I was able to attend the grand opening of the Kura in Orlando a few years ago, and this service was so much smoother and the staff was very welcoming!

We’re so excited that this opened up near us! Conveyor belt sushi is always fun and Kura is clean and so easy to order at. They have lots of options circulating on the belt as well as many things you can order. Their capsule system is really fun (insert 15 plates and get a mystery ball with a cute charm!). The sushi itself is very tasty and their desserts and sides are good. The servers were all very nice and explained the process thoroughly. Each table has an iPad like system to order and pay from. They do have some vegetarian options: kitsune udon, cucumber salad, vegetable rolls. Most of their tables are 4 tops so larger parties require multiple tables. It gets crowded so definitely make a reservation in advance.

Unforgettable Experience at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar!

If you haven’t been to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, run, don’t walk! This place is hands down one of the most fun and delicious dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

From the moment we sat down, everything was seamless and exciting. The revolving sushi system is not just convenient, it’s genuinely fun! And the quality? Absolutely top-tier. Every single piece we tried from the classic tuna nigiri to the shrimp topped with citrusy garnishes was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared.

We did have one small hiccup where one of our sushi plates had something on it that shouldn’t have been there. But honestly? The way the staff handled it turned it into a positive experience. They immediately apologized, removed the item from our bill, and went straight to check with the chef. Moments later, our server kindly returned to clarify that it was not a hair, just a natural fiber from one of the ingredients. That kind of transparency, care, and quick response showed us how seriously they take food quality and customer trust.

The service overall was just on another level always kind, incredibly attentive, and truly professional. It’s the kind of care and hospitality that’s rare to find these days.

And yes… we stacked up a lot of plates, and we don’t regret a single one. 😄

I've been so excited for the Boulder location to open, and was pleasantly surprised how smoothly the soft opening went. We made a reservation and were seated right on time, and while there was never an empty seat, it didn't feel too loud or overwhelming. I've been to Kura Sushi locations in Osaka and Austin, and the Boulder location was an equally fantastic experience. The food was great with so much variety, the staff were attentive and helpful, and they really maximized the use of the smaller space of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back again!

Came in for the soft opening on my lunch break! It's just as good as the ones I've been to in california, staff was very attentive, very quick with refills. Will be returning often

Now open! Delaney was a super kind waitress, and should get a raise💯.
We did try to come in the other day but unfortunately it was unopened which was unfortunate, but we came back and had a great experience! Food was great, mainly rolls compared to other items wish they had a bit more variety, as a suggestion, I would add more things like inari, edamame and those sorts of things for variety! But also the workers were very nice, and will be coming back!
