We used to love going to Le Peep in Houston Texas. This visit in Boulder was just average. I should have listened to the server who suggested something other than the huevos rancheros. They were right; it wasn't the best. The eggs were good, but the beans were very watery and immediately made the large flour tortilla soggy and unappealing. It was garnished with a pico de gallo that tasted good, but then a lot of ordinary shredded lettuce that didn't add anything to the...
Love the hobo skillet! $2.99 mimosas are great too. Most restaurants charge WAY too much for a simple mimosa of champagne and orange juice, but LePeep prices them fairly. Good coffee and good service almost every time. Another important fact that keeps me going back is that, while they are busy, there usually isn't a wait and, if so, it isn't outrageous like many brunch places are. It's pretty basic, simple food, but I really like it.
