Lucile's Creole Cafe Reviews
This was the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to us at restaurant. We ordered our food and when the pancakes came out they obviously brought syrup, but after we had poured our syrup and ate almost all our pancakes we started seeing ants in the SYRUP! I don’t even want to know how many ants we swallowed🤮 After the fact we told our waiter if we could talk to the manager but the manager was so unprofessional that he didn't even want to come out and offer an official...read full review

Lucile's Creole Cafe is a popular breakfast spot with a cozy atmosphere that feels warm and inviting. The restaurant serves warm and comforting Creole-inspired dishes, including the perfect beignets, which are messy and delicious. The Creole Breakfast is a highlight, featuring well-seasoned red beans and rice with a twist of shredded pork. Guests have raved about the amazing bread and beignets, and the atmosphere adds to the experience. Though some dishes, like the shrimp & grits and shrimp sandwich, may not impress, the jalapeño cheddar grits and cheese grits are recommended alternatives. The Cajun breakfast and egg sardou have also received praise for being tasty and well-sized meals.
While the service can be hit-or-miss, the friendly and attentive staff contribute to the overall experience, making it great for brunch with friends or a significant other. It feels inviting, like a restaurant in a house, encouraging guests to come on in and sit a spell. Guests have enjoyed refreshing apple cider mimosas that complement the meals perfectly. One unique aspect of the location is that there is an added charge when paying by credit card. Overall, Lucile's is a delightful place for an incredible breakfast in Fort Collins, and it feels like a down-to-earth neighborhood spot that many hope will be around for a long time.
