I usually love coming to Modern Market, but this location needs some improvement and I hope the staff can get some support to make it a better experience for guests.
Yesterday we walked in and no one came to the register for a few minutes or acknowledged us. A “hello, we’ll be right with you” goes a long way. The food was okay. The salmon on the caesar was really dry and old. But my biggest ick is the general cleanliness of the place. The wall in my booth was splattered with old soda (?), the tables were all sticky, and there were a lot of dishes on other tables that should have been bussed a while ago. The bathrooms were equally dirty. The bathroom doors are a bit broken and the back door is also really hard to open to exit. I really want to love this place but my experience with the quality of the food and restaurant in general will probably prevent me from coming back and that’s a bummer.

Lindsey, from their catering team made my daughters wedding in April such a success. Everyone loved the food and she was amazing to work with. We were so encouraged by her warmth and professionalism. This is a great place to use for catering. We had 175 people. We are using them again in a week and a half for our younger daughter’s wedding. Thank you for your great work.
I went in for dinner at about 7 PM after the first part of the dinner rush and ordered a meal and was going to pay in cash, but I only had a $100 bill. The guy behind the counter had no idea what to do. He kept telling me over and over that they didn’t take hundred dollar bills.. unfortunately, it’s what the ATM dispensed to me and I had four additional dollars but I tried to bring the tip up to $20 but he still wouldn’t accept the $100.. The guy wouldn’t even look in the drawer to see if they had change; He was just in some kind of weird panic mode. . It would be great if there was a stated policy like most drive-through’s that say “no bills over $20” but I didn’t see that anywhere on the menu on the paper menu or even at their website. I ended up leaving and going next-door to noodles, getting the same salad with a piece of chicken for four dollars less. And guess what? not only did they take cash. They could also make change.. The food At MOD market is pretty good and we used to come in about once a week, but the folks working there literally make transactions impossible. I guess it’s gonna be Noodles right next-door, or Birdcall across the parking lot, for pretty much the same food, but for less money and far more competent staff.

I had the Thai coconut salad, which was delicious. The salad dressing had a great flavor and all the toppings were great. I particularly enjoyed the sweet potato’s. The chicken was good, but it was a little dry in some parts, and some of the lettuce pieces were wilty, but only like 3 or 4 small pieces. The food came out in about 10 minutes. I enjoyed the wall and seeing all the plant decor. One thing was that for maybe 30 seconds there was like a really loud blender that disturbed the peace. Overall pretty good though and the prices were reasonable.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year now. Whenever I need a quick and healthy lunch or dinner while I’m away from home, Modern Market Eatery is always my go-to. The pickup orders are incredibly fast — I order through the app, and it’s ready by the time I arrive. Consistently great service and food. I’d love to see more locations in other states!
