Flatiron Coffee is a popular spot for coffee and tea, offering a variety of high-quality drinks and tasty baked goods. The hot black tea from a smaller, delicious brand is a highlight, and the banana bread and lemon cake are soft and moist. Seasonal specials are enjoyed by regulars, though their placement on the menu could be better. The honey pot remains a popular staple for those not choosing a seasonal option.
The cafe has a Boulder vibe, with a mix of students and locals. The staff are friendly and welcoming, though service can sometimes be inconsistent. Once a unique feature, the chocolate/cacao drink menu has disappeared. Despite this, the cafe continues to attract coffee lovers, especially for its iced americano made with a light espresso, which is highly recommended. Staff are happy to share information about the coffee and help those wanting to recreate drinks at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, with good music and an amazing view out front. Overall, Flatiron Coffee remains a great place for coffee and tea enthusiasts.
