“One of the best coffee shops I have visited recently. The café had a warm atmosphere with stylish décor and comfortable seating. I ordered a vanilla latte, and it tasted absolutely delicious with the perfect creamy texture. The service was fast, and the overall environment was calm and inviting.“

“I had been wanting to try this place for a while. I like that they specialize in baked goods such as cakes and other treats. I ordered a matcha bubble tea with tapioca boba. I really prefer coconut milk in my bubble tea, but here they only offer regular milk or oat milk. I also ordered a slice of the basque cheesecake to try. The matcha bubble tea is good, but could use a little bit more matcha as it’s hard to taste. I chose the 25% sweetness level, which works well for me. The tapioca boba itself is perfect. Plump, soft and chewy, the way it should be. The cake slice is generous. Definitely a lot for one person to finish. The cake was really good. Not overly sweet, fairly light and fluffy and nice and creamy. The total for the tea and slice of cake was $15.86. They had mochi donuts and small puddings, but I wish there were other small baked offerings. Something between the donut and the slice of cake would be great. The location is okay. It’s hard to get to without a car. It feels more like a walk-in walk-out bakery than a place to hang out and do work, but they do offer outdoor seating which is nice.“

“I think Boxcar might have the best food and service I’ve ever experienced in my life. The coffee is of the highest quality and the staff is highly skilled in the products they serve. The pastries are life changing and I can’t say enough good things about the breakfast sandwich on the challah roll (a must try imho).

The other day my brekkie sandwich did not come with the bacon I added. I pointed this out and asked for bacon on the side to add. The barista insisted they would make a new one for me and that I keep the original sandwich. The new sandwich arrived quickly and they gave me a coupon for a free drink. I wouldn’t expect that but it was appreciated and shows a high level of customer service that will keep me coming back.

Revising to say that noise level can vary depending on what time you go. It’s never been above moderate but if you go earlier it is very quiet!“

“This place is amazing. A coworker and I dropped in, stoked on the views, the fire place, the cozy chairs, and hoping to get some work done around 11 AM. Unfortunately, the building manager is blasting a somewhat terrible mix of random music that sounds like someone hit shuffle on a 12 year old's first iPod. Apparently Vibe has no control over the music, which is super unfortunate. It sort of made it untenable to work because it's quite loud, even with noise cancelling headphones. Hopefully, the building manager will get a clue. Chill background music at an appropriate volume would be acceptable. Otherwise, the place is dreamy.“

“No lie this is for the discerning in all things coffee, matcha, breads, pastries, dry goods. Why?
Depends if you care or know the difference. If you don’t scroll past nothing to see here.
The beans, the grind, the temp the methods for the coffee. Sourcing, mindfulness you name it the coffee and matcha has it x’s 10.
So the flavor and complete experience is bar-none and I’m from Portland OR. You could be in France it’s that good.
Then if you like being not-poisoned with nonsense in your breads like fake folic acid etc this is your place. Almost nowhere else to find this available.
Great indulging in over the top-notch croissants and scones and cookies etc and know I’m not eating seed oils and therefore not going to experience negative digestive and other physical symptoms.
Sitting in the courtyard is really stellar as well.“

“My daughter and I stopped here late afternoon on 11 Aug 2026 to get some much needed refreshments (i.e., liquid fuel). This business is located at a perfect spot for my daughter since she is literally walking distance away from it (from where she lives)...which we took full advantage of that day and walked to this coffee shop. After stopping here, I looked online and realized there are several other OZO locations in Boulder, which I guess I never realized in the past few years of visiting the city. Regardless, I'm glad that day finally arrived for us and we had a wonderful experience here.

When we walked in, we were nicely greeted by the employee at the front counter. The service here was magnificent; from the time of ordering, all the way to receiving our drinks. I was especially grateful that the employee was patient with me as I was navigating through their menu and asking a few questions. I don't recall the exact item I ordered but I believe it was the Guatemala Maria Romalda Cold Brew, and my daughter ordered a Matcha Latte with Oat Milk. I really wanted to try their French Press coffee but I was limited on time. Regardless, my Cold Brew was marvelous and my daughter loved her drink. She loved it so much that from the time we stopped here, all the way to posting this review, she had already visited this shop again. I noticed several mocha drinks on the menu that sounded wonderful and if I'm ever in town again, I am definitely going to try one of them and of course the French Press coffee. We didn't order anything to eat but the items behind the glass window sure did look delicious. Obviously, I'll update this review and rating (if applicable) after the conclusion of my next visit which hopefully, will incorporate different drinks and the food.

The price-to-quality/quantity ratio was reasonable and I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I don't reside in this city but it's good to know that there is a coffee shop of this caliber near my daughter's residence and within close proximity for the next time I'm in town. I highly recommend this business to everyone!“
