“Quintessential local bakery. Moxi is a local staple. It’s amazing how many times we’ve run into neighbors and friends while we order a little treat. My mother in law, who lives out of state, raves about their pastries constantly. It is her first stop each time she’s visiting.“
“I like the casual and comfortable feel of this coffee shop. They have lots of food and snacks options. They had a lot of good gluten free options too. I enjoyed their lemon poppyseed scone. Also I thought it was cute that they use pasta as their stir stick options. Great way to cut back on plastic use!“
“I have been buying coffee beans for the past 3 years. It excellent. Though many other coffee shops also sell the same variety of beans what separates Giovannitti Roasters is *the* roasting. Dan's roasting brings out the flavors and aroma.“
“They accommodate, in an incredible way, whatever it is you need for the day! Whether rich coffee and serenity for a day of work or a tasty lunch and an outdoor patio with friends, you will find what you need at this (maybe not so) hidden gem. Thankful to spend way too much time here these days!“
“Oh how I love Ziggis coffee!! they are conveniently located in Louisville with even a drive-through, which makes it so much easier to get my delicious coffee... Everything always comes out perfect the price is just great and I am always super happy with a friendly service“
“I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this place, other than knowing that people are more likely to take time to write about their negative experiences rather than the good ones. I'm newer to the area and when I saw the low rating and comments I was almost going to go to a different location, but I'm so glad I didn't! Every time I come here, I'm greeted by a happy smile, kind staff, and my order is always perfect! Not only are the staff kind, they also continuously thank customers for their patience and communicate with each other very well about what's next in their queue in order to get through a busy morning rush. I'm usually not one to write a review but I just think this place deserves a better rep. Thank you all @ Starbucks Louisville!!!“
“We stopped in to take out some pastries for lunch and a dessert for dinner. The service was kind but highly distracted (they were more interested in each other than in us). The lamination in the croissants is fabulous and the filling in the danishes shows a delightful and tasty self-restraint on sweetness. No fault of the establishment, but by 1pm, pastries were a little stale. Probably better to come first thing in the day.“
“I come to this shop every other Monday like clockwork as a little treat to myself. I don't skip them except for when I am on vacation, or presumably when I will have someday perished.Even then, my spirit will still come to Lamar's in Louisville. To preface my food pickiness: I lived in Chicago for three years, I've been to one of Alton Brown's famous recommended donut shops, I've tried Voodoo Donuts, all of them fine, but let me say I have never in my life had a donut that has EVER compared to what's going on at Lamar's.Like, if you asked me to describe the perfect donut for the most exquisite gooey dough texture, frosting, flavor, and sheer variety, I would wordlessly point to this store every single time.I would commit heinous crimes for their blueberry filled bizmarks ALONE.Y'all are the best. Special praise in particular to the Hispanic gentleman always working the Monday counter when I'm in; I don't think I've ever seen him have a bad day, as he's always happily laughing and joking around with customers. Your employees are a positive influence in the experience!Keep doing what you're doing because it's fantastic.“
