Exceptionally good traditional Italian food, sauces actually taste like they’re processing their own locally grown fresh tomatoes the day of preparation (which isn’t near as common as you’d think it should be), and very attractive wait staff (call me shallow but I enjoy good looking servers). Also the restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing from the outside.
Look, it's my first review in Boulder, but I have high expectations. Especially when you walk into a place that touts their founding story... and by a local no less. Sadly, the experience of the food was just not quality. I could have easily sourced more tasty, nutritious AND ripe ingredients from King Soopers! To their credit, after mentioning the lackluster salad, they did remove it from my bill, but for a company that prints how authentic and quality their ingredients...
We were spending a day in Boulder and came here for lunch. We ate pizzas and pastas. Pizzas were good with crunchy crust and pastas were very fulling (huge portion size!). Service was also awesome! It looked a bit popular place so we needed to wait about 15 mins for the free table on Friday afternoon. I could recommend this restaurant.
