It's fine. Really only good for large margaritas, the food is an afterthought.

Food was good. Service and atmosphere were ok but not that excellent.

Excellent place for lunch after a hike. Good salsa and guac. The fajitas were excellent, with very flavorful rice and beans.

Amazing food, incredibly breathtaking views.
Best salsa I ever had! And the tortilla soup, unparalleled!! Highly recommend this restaurant

Sophie the manager went above and beyond!! A family owned restaurant in the heart of Boulder.

Rooftop Dining view is the best.

Really, really good chicken. Fresh ingredients. Awesome drink menu. I'm used to larger portions at these prices.

Wow! Would leave 6 stars if I could - this place is fantastic. The skinny margarita is delicious, the free chips and salsa taste homemade and fresh, and the steak is delectable. Our server Ari was very nice and gave great recommendations.
The manager, Lucas, also checked in and made sure we had a great experience.

My absolute go to for the best margaritas. I'm obsessed with the vegetarian shishito tacos! So yummy!

First time ever going to Rio. Stopped in for a quick margarita and had such a great experience we ended up eating dinner as well as having a few drinks. Our server, Ansel, was amazing with menu knowledge and being super attentive. We will definitely be back to see him!

I’ve been going to the Rio for over 30 yrs… and I’m done. It’s a sad day. They have seriously downsized the menu and expanded the prices. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t have any pork entrees on the menu? And the “chicken enchiladas” were mostly green peppers and onions! Definitely not worth the combination of inflation and shrinkflation! Good bye, Rio, it was a good run. But you are no longer worth the high prices and low food quality and choices!

It's starting to get a little cold at night now and my family was not prepared for that. They did their best to accommodate us and move us to a warmer area even though they were packed. Both the food and drinks were great in my opinion, the fajitas were different from what I've had but tasted amazing. I would recommend the atomic salsa!
