We ordered our wedding cake from Shamane’s and it was DIVINE. We got a smaller round cake for about 15 people and chose the chocolate orange cake after doing a sampling. It is one of my favorite cakes I have ever tasted, and it also had a beautiful design that they did after we sent some inspo photos 🥰

Shamane’s Bakery and Cafe is a must! It is an amazing hole in the wall bakery. Best in Boulder. They offer an awesome selection/variety of baked goods, desserts, breads, and more.
Our favorites have been the chicken pot pie, chocolate croissants and the mango passion fruit tres leches!
We taste tested a selection of their wedding cakes and they were phenomenal! They had fun and unique flavor combos.

Very good product. Nice folks. Convenient location (for me). But come on now.... if you grab the wrong croissant for me and I have to come back from my house to exchange it for the correct one, you definitely should NOT take back the incorrect one. Standard expectation when a customer is inconvenienced like that is that you let them keep the incorrect order since I'm sure you don't try to re-sell it to other customers....... right? This won't keep me from returning, because everything else is solid. But you may want to re-train your team on this matter.

I gave this place a second try but won’t be returning. The vibe is not friendly. The moment I walked in a woman behind the counter stared at me like I was on trial for something. Then immediately a man asked me what I wanted without giving me any time at all to even get my bearings or look at what they had. Don’t be afraid to be assertive and say that you need a minute to look!
Something is not friendly and not good about the vibe here, my heart was racing the whole time while in the store and I immediately felt relieved when I exited the space and got outside.
The energy is off and not right.
I hope the staff here get the support and positivity they need to be a kind influence on other peoples day instead of the opposite.

I ordered a cake with some writing on it. They accepted the order. When I picked up the order they told me that they could not write on the side of the cake. I was confused and upset. I took the cake to King Soopers bakery and the decorator there was nice enough to help me out and write on the side of the cake for me.
