Overpriced and bad quality food. Also parking is horrible, should be able to expand it with the prices your charging. Thumbs down 👎

The breakfast pasty was divine. The texture of the bread was perfect! I will definitely be coming back here.
I am a frequent customer here for their chicken pot pies, which are one of the best I’ve ever had. I also LOVE their monkey bread. Recently, I had to order a GF coconut cream pie with limited time. They were so accommodating and the pie was amazing! They never cease to amaze me.

I called Shamanes Bakery for an order of 6 quiches (variety of most of the quiches on their menu, including 1 that had a gluten free crust) for my mom’s surprise 70th birthday party on only a few days advance notice. They were so kind, helpful and responsive! The quiches were a huge hit with my family!! Everyone kept talking about how delicious they were and asked where I got them from. I was more than happy to give details:)
While I was waiting for my order I saw so many scrumptious looking pastries in their display case! I will definitely be back:)

Shamane is THE BEST baker in town. My now husband and I ordered our wedding cake here. We got the seasonal palisade peach flavour. It is our absolute favorite cake ever. My husband even loves it and he does not really enjoy sweets. Shamane herself is also very sweet and kind. We very much enjoyed working with her on our cake, and we even got a mini wedding cake this year for our first anniversary. My husband loves to get pastry here before work in Boulder. Will 100% return (for our weekly Kouign-amann :)

Everything here is certifiably insane. Skip the chorizo burrito but everything else is heavenly.

Back in Boulder & straight to Shamane’s .. nothing quite like it in Boulder, or Colorado for that matter. Small storefront .. bakery nirvana.

Best croissant I've had in decades. The smell, taste, and texture were amazing. The passion fruit trees leches was delicious as was the raspberry frangipane. I will try the quiche next time as I could see that the custard was deep and set perfectly. My espresso shots were pulled correctly, rich crema and stout over bitter extraction.
The people are also cool and excited about the product.
I've been a chef and cook for 25 years and raised on French pastry and I will be coming back.
Worth every penny. If you come here and don't like it, then more for me.

Wowie. I came here about a year and a half ago, before I had google maps, and remember this place as being a nice bakery in boulder, I also happened to grab a take and bake pie while I was there. I had initially planned on serving it the next time I had a party for dessert. Put it in the freezer and COMPLETELY SPACED!! Come back to two days ago (7/26/2025), when I’m cleaning my freezer out and here I find this pie. I figure I might as well make it, so I thaw it out overnight in the fridge. Simple instructions, and I follow them. The pie comes out of the over piping hot and a beautiful golden brown crust. Unfortunately, the top crust tasted like my freezer (but I take full responsibility, it was my fault for leaving it in the freezer for so long), but the filling and bottom crust were amazeballs. I believe it was an apple pie, and it had cranberries and a few blackberries as well. It is not a typical apple pie, but has sort of a more modern taste to it, and it’s delicious. The crust was crumbly to the touch and sooo buttery. I wish all pies could have this crust.
I beg you, please, do not make the mistake of leaving it in the freezer for a year and a half, but bake it sooner than later, and just enjoy this delectable pie.
I cannot wait to stop in again soon to try some more things.

I had Shamane’s make our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were phenomenal to work with from start to finish. The team is so responsive, was willing to work with us to make our ideas come to life, and was so accommodating when we decided we needed delivery less than a month out. Shamane is lovely. Our desserts were amazing, and our guests were raving about how good our cake was all night. Now we return to the bakery to get sweet treats when we’re in town!

Hidden sweet little shop, with delectable items.
From breakfast burritos, to quiche, to dessert, nothing we’ve had has been disappointing. They have some gf items but wish they had more. Friendly staff

I had the fortune of meeting Shamane herself and she runs a truly incredible operation. A must go if you are ever in Boulder—cannot recommend any more strongly!

We got our wedding cake from Shamane's. The sampling was great. All the flavors were awesome. They were very helpful in designing the cake. Easy process and good communication. Our cake came out perfect. Highly recommend.
