During Covid, they managed customer flow, and required masks. If you do order a sandwich in person, be prepared to wait a few minutes for it to be prepared fresh. Don't count on getting a load of bread to accompany your dinner, their focus is pies and sweets.
The only casual place I went to where you can get real food. Much more wholesome than all the chains, including the local ones and those parading as health food restaurants. Tastes homemade and cooked with care.

Made the trip up from Denver. One of the best chocolate croissants (if not the best) I’ve had in my life!Someone we met told us they had tried 40 croissants in CO and this was the best. I totally believe it after trying one.The veggie quiche was also excellent, very excited to try their chicken pot pie tonight for dinner.

Shamane's Bakery is amazing! I ordered Christmas themed desserts for a company holiday party and they were so beautiful and delicious. Everyone raved about these desserts, especially the caramel profiteroles. Very reasonably priced and the customer service was outstanding.
I have not been to Shamane's, had never heard of it (apparently I've been living in a cave. I weep for the years they've been around and I didn't know they were there). A friend dropped off four chicken pot pies from them today. I reheated one of them in the oven, and it was GLORIOUS.Absolutely DELICIOUS.It hit every single note I would want from a chicken pot pie.I cannot stress how delicious it was without being tiresome.The best chicken pot pie I have ever had. I am not prone to hyperbole, but I will never be happy with another chicken pot pie. And now, of course, I plan on visiting the store frequently!The real test will be their croissants. But from what I've seen from the reviews, it probably won't be a test at all lol. I know I am looking forward to it!
