My all time favorite restaurant in Boulder. I went with my family and took our visiting relative. He is 20 years sober so loved all the non-alcoholic drink options as well as the hot chai which is hard to beat (especially with free refills). I ordered the Tikka Masala Spicy with Paneer and my family had a yak soup with noodles and a sampler for 2 to share. We also started with some chicken momos which are my favorite! I feel like I could eat 30 of them and each bite would be as tasty as the last, I love the spicy sauce served with them. I also am obsessed with their daal which you get for free with most entrees. I've tried to make it myself at home or order from other restaurants but can never get it as savory and delicious as the one here. Make sure to order some naan as well for the table. Their naan is thick, fluffy, and soft. Every time I'm here I'm always impressed with not only the food and prices, but also the warm mess from the staff and cozy unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on a mountain expedition. Obsessed!

Looking for a good place to enjoy lunch? Head to Sherpa's Adventure Restaurant. The food is authentic and scrumptious. The location in a lovely old house off Walnut St, is homely and comfortable. And the service is efficient and discreet. And the price is affordable and very reasonable. Opens at 11 am, nice and quiet for an early lunch.

Vegetarian options: Lots of choice. All good.

Rude staff - essentially rushed us out when we came 40 minutes before close on a Friday. There was also a disgusting hair in our food. This place certainly does not meet certain health standards.

Won’t be back, food was also not worth the price.

Food , service and atmosphere all 5 star. Momo and sherpa stew was exceptional. Cultural decoration took my memories of Nepal.

This place is over the top in service, food quality and reasonable prices. My companion and I sat in the covered space outdoors, way in the back at a large tablecloth-covered picnic table with built-in wooden seats covered in fabric and pillows behind us. We had our own private nook.
We both ordered saag—lamb and chicken and the portions were plenty so that I was able to take half home with me. The garlic naan bread was also tasty and nice and buttery.
The Chai was perfectly seasoned and just right warmed.

Our waiter was completely welcoming and had a good sense of humor. When I dropped my fork and asked him for another one he told me there was a five dollar charge, said with a twinkle in his eyes.

The total price came to around 22. each, not including tip.

Overall pretty good! We've traveled a lot, including to India and used to live in a big Metropolitan area with a large Indian population, but for Colorado, this place is good.

Pros:
- Great prices! For this fact alone I will come back again and again.
- The Saag and Naan can't be beat!
- Adorable atmosphere! Warm outside with beautiful restored old house inside (too bad they wouldn't let us sit inside, not very cool on a weekend especially).

Cons:
- The food is very americanized. Please try to be a bit more authentic in your offerings. People will like it, I promise.
- Meat was all overcooked. The curry meats especially all rubber. Tasted like they've sat and boiled all day long. Separate the meat then add in right before serving.
- Servers not knowledgeable. Very uncomfortable mannerisms. And who doesn't know what Roti is? Very stressful waiters who kept making mistakes loudly and making customers feel bad.

Will come back. Good place, but a bit of improvement to be 5 stars! Also, consider expanding your menu. It's VERY basic. We come here for your ethnic food, not the same americanized versions of 1 basic curry.
