Excellent service good food. We're looking forward to taking the family to one of their holiday buffets in the future.
Our favorite restaurant in Boulder - creative entrees, excellent desserts and enjoyable ambiance. Big shout out to Chris, our waiter!
New year day staffing was awful! Place was packed and couldn't handle the situation and most of the wait staff had an attitude! Drinks took 15 plus minutes and apps were even later. The main was marginal! Terrible experience for at one time was a great hotel!
Would try again just not on New Year's Eve. They seemed overwhelmed. The food was fresh and the short rib arancini was delicious!
Have spent several New Year's celebrations at the fabulous Boulderado. This will be the last for awhile. The restaurant and bar were not prepared for the evening. We were seated for an hour before menus were brought over. Felt sorry for the couple of wait staff members that were there. Food was just so-so when it was finally served. Could not wait to get out of there. Food and drinks were comped (a plus) but overall, not a good experience. Stay away on busy days.
We had an excellent experience at Spruce. We went 4 days after Christmas and the building was very festively decorated. The food was excellent. Two of us had the salmon with lentils and two had the duck. Everyone loved their meal. The service was excellent ( thank you Max) and for a great meal the prices were good. They have great cocktails and a nice wine list as well. Overall it was a fantastic meal.
Really historic experience, hotel and live music on Friday makes the experience complete. Food was fresh off the farm - every plate was special!!
Spruce Farm and Fish is an iconic eatery with a new delicious twist on its menu items. Not to be missed.
A delicious Veterans Day lunch for four, honoring our two Veterans. Thank you for great food, and exceptional service and ambience. We'll be back soon.
Wild mushroom omelette was delicious as was the side of fresh fruit. Sour dough toast was disappointing

Had the Tri-tip special. We live where the Tri-tip cut was invented. The Tri-tip beef I would rate as average but the sides were excellent.
Our waiter, Max, was outstanding. He was professional, friendly and very accommodating. He saved what started out to be a most unpleasant start to the evening. Despite a request for a booth in the reservation, there was none and we were seated at a table that must have been the worst in the house, facing the swinging open door to the kitchen. When I asked the hostess to reseat us on the porch where many tables were open, she told me that they were reserved! We waited over 20 minutes for service despite 2 requests to be served. Along came Max and his service completely turned things around. Thank you Max! The food from what appears to now be a bistro menu was excellent. We will return, but not on a Saturday evening which for many reasons seemed to overwhelm the operation.
Great restaurant. The ambiance, food and service were all great. We had the salmon salad and the trout and the bar tender created a personalized cocktail for us.
Very good service. Very good breakfasts. Outstanding calm atmosphere. It is a bit pricey, even for Boulder, but it is in a hotel. I'm glad they serve midweek brunch.
There was six of us. Everyone's food was excellent. The restaurant is in an historic hotel. Fabulous decor. We will definitely be back
