Great experience! The food was amazing and the service was great; as well as a super great atmosphere. Natasha was our server and she was the best! Super friendly and attentive! I would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice place to grab drinks and food. The happy hour here is amazing as well.

This is definitely a wonderful 5 star resort. It is gorgeous, well maintained, friendly, clean. That lobby is incredible (but they are missing an opportunity to serve excellent cocoa)! Rooms are on the small side but sufficient and comfortable. Honestly, we felt the sheets are not dream sheets. kind of rough . But it's ok. Also, the bathroom is VERY small with only one vanity. Thats said, we loved it an look forward to returning!

They gave me top floor which i asked for, got the mountain view. Its in walking distance of just about everything, pearl street mall etc.. The spa facilities are fantastic, had two great massage therapists. The food though at jills restaurant is just top notch. I’ll be back here again.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views of Flatirons. Terrific service and great location close to restaurants and shopping on Pearl Street. Room was facing the mountains and bed very comfortable. Would recommend.

First of all, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Secondly, the hotel smells really good! The lobby is a great place to hang out. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Really great hotel! My teen even gave it a thumbs-up!

The staff at the hotel was very young and the level of professionalism was lacking. The rooms were okay , beds were very comfortable. The concept of a green hotel is nice, but all the menus and room service was on a TV menu that was not user friendly. At $500 a night we expect at least a chair and small table, but there wasn't one. Simple things like an iron that worked, a TV remote that worked. All of these things should be inspected and it was apparent that any kind of management was invisable.

From entering the hotel, to the welcoming service at check in through the entire stay, my expectations were met. The hotel amenities were exceptional and I loved the extras in the room from the bath salt to the robes and delightful bed. A great stay and I highly recommend.

The hotel was amazing, everything we had hoped it would be and more. Our spa treatments were really exquisite, Shay gives a great facial. The restaurant and lounge had great food and cocktails and the entire experience was made better by the outstanding concierge service and expertise provided by Michelle!

A little short of 5 circles, but close (I would give 4.5 if that was an option). I am rounding up in giving 5 circles here because 4 is too low. It is a very nice hotel. Not 5 star by say Aspen or Vail standards, but also not as expensive as the higher-end options in those places. The biggest drawback of this hotel is that it is dated and starting to show its age. It really could use a good, thorough renovation. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but could use an update. The hotel is well located and near a lot of great Boulder attractions. All of the service was EXCELLENT and I was especially impressed with the housekeeping. Very nice bar, but restaurant was on the small side and had what I consider to be very limited hours (only open 3.5 hours for breakfast and was closed for dinner because of events during our stay). The pool was nice and they appear to have a very nice spa (didn't try it). Now, a couple of irritations and nitpicks. The gym was inadequate (very small and missing some equipment). They should invest in a better gym, but maybe people are more interested in visiting Boulder for outdoor activities? Either way, it was not the level of gym I would expect at a luxury property. Also, another thing that bothered me is that they only offer free morning coffee in the lobby on weekends (not every day??). That seems kind of cheap and stingy to me. They do have very nice coffee makers in the rooms however. What bothered me the most is that when we checked in, they made a point of telling us to feel free to request the "house car" if we needed a ride somewhere close. Three times we asked for a ride and all three times we were unapologetically told no (flat out told us too busy with no apology whatsoever). I don't really care too much whether a hotel offers a house car service, but they went out of their way to offer it only to refuse it every time we tried to take them up on the offer (that to me is a service miss). The valet parking, however, was very professional and very friendly (so it was quite easy to get to our rental car when we needed it). Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and it seems to me that it is the best Boulder has to offer (not a lot of true luxury options that I could find in the town). And Boulder itself is a great place to visit. Despite my nitpicks, I would recommend this hotel.

Well situated hotel with a great spa and excellent dining options . The room was very spacious although the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable which considering the charge for a suite was disappointing , The staff were ALL wonderful . Highly recommended for a short visit to beautiful Boulder .

Fantastic hotel. Prime location! Walking to everything or short drives to great hikes and scenery. We did not get time to use the spa this time so we must go back and stay much longer! Turn down service, great food and drinks on premises. Very knowledgeable concierge staff. Cozy beds, nice rooms. Great staff. Finally a hotel with good service post covid!!! We will be back and you should go stay there too!

Our experience at St. Julien Hotel & Spa was wonderful. The room was immaculate. The housekeeping staff provided ample ammenities each day. We had great experiences at Jill’s restaurant, where we at breakfast each morning. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The hotel is just one block from Pearl St. in the heart of Boulder. We highly recommend staying at this fantastic hotel.

I used to live in Boulder and the St Julien was the go-to place I sent people coming to visit to stay. They always had glowing reviews and experiences so when returning to visit old friends for the weekend, it wasn’t even a question where I’d stay myself. But the years haven’t been kind to this place it seems (or I had a negative one off? Although these issues all seem systemic than a bad day…). The St Julien is a premium property (or so they aim it to be?) in a very nice area. It’s focused on vacationers but also business people as there are many technology and biotech firms right nearby. So, breakfast starting at 7AM on weekdays for business people or conference attendees is very weird. Rather than make a happy accommodation for this rather unorthodox timing for my prepaid breakfast (I had meetings starting at 8AM Monday, which meant I needed to be out of the hotel by 7, not just sitting down for table service then…not unusual given the traffic in the Front Range is as it is), I was proffered a combative excuse that “due to the pandemic we can’t offer 24 hour room service” as if I was asking for something entirely unreasonable. First: I wasn’t asking for room service not anything 24/7: the Holiday Inn Express manages breakfast starting at business-friendly hours, but they can’t. Eliot took it from “is the resto really not open until 7 on Monday?” to somehow thinking I was demanding 24/7 room service. Why? I don’t know. Second: I am no COVID denier, at all. Fully believe it and the impact it has on industry, but this is just a completely flaccid excuse for cutting cost and staffing corners while still charging me a premium price. This was in June 2023. Over two years since COVID-19 was under control in the area, two years after mask mandates went away. The federal government even has caught up with the times and called the pandemic past, yet the night manager somehow told me I was unreasonable to expect breakfast before 7 on Monday. I grabbed breakfast elsewhere, so not a problem without a solution but not at all what I expect from a place charging $400-$800/night. Let alone the inappropriate excuses and attempt to make me the unreasonable one for getting my work day going before 9AM or whatever might be the norm with their staff. Second: forget using WiFi. If you’re lucky, it tops out at 20Mbps (I had DSL in Boulder in 2007 that was faster!). Cellphones tether at 150Mbps+ these days. Don’t expect to take a video meeting reliably, have your mobile hotspot ready. Again, a problem with other solutions, but at this rate and high end nature, not one I should have to be worrying about. All-in-all: you’re paying a high price to have to figure the basics out for yourself because they miss on those, and then to be looked at like you have three heads when you ask for accommodation around these misses.

It was just ok, for the price was expecting a bit more. Also had bad room experience. Staff was good, bell service was great, overall average experience. Spa was the best part of the visit. Location was perfect.
