We stumbled on the Attic Bar & Bistro because we parked on the outskirts of town and saw it while we were walking into town. It was a Sunday night, and we were looking for somewhere to celebrate my 60th birthday with some burgers and a couple drinks. While getting happy hour drinks with a colleague a few weeks ago I found a sliver of glass in my Fat Albert. I informed the bartender, who replaced my drink and informed me that that the two drinks we had ordered would be on the house. A few hours later I noticed that that the bar had charged me for the drinks regardless.

The only bar I've ever been in that manages to be a "college bar" while still having great food, great drinks, and quick, friendly service. The atmosphere changes depending on time of day, what sports games are happening, and who's in town, so it's always worth checking out! (Seriously, their grilled cheese sandwiches are to die for, as well as most of their fried foods.)
