A very good thanksgiving meal offered. Nice wine and reasonably priced. I did return one plate as food was not hot. I quickly was brought a new plate. Of course this was a very busy time for the kitchen. Enjoyed the corner bar atmosphere as less formal than the dining room. Thanks

I used to love this place but last night was disappointing. 10 minutes for anyone to come to our table and greet us and offer drinks. 50 minutes before our food was served. Extremely noisy. Food was okay. They used to have a great iceberg wedge salad that's no longer on the menu.

Casual lunch/dinner spot in the historic Boulderado Hotel situated in the heart of the city. American fare, pleasant surroundings and good value for the $.

The Corner Bar does not have to be as good as it is. It sits on the corner of the ground floor of Boulder's iconic Hotel Boulderado. It would gather paying customers like a tip jar gathers singles. But from the jump, it's a place that welcomes a first-timer like an old friend. We had come for a casual date evening and for beef that would fit within our budget. We ordered breaded calamari as a starter. You know breaded calamari? Every Holiday Inn restaurant does breaded calamari. This was a starter that got our attention, done to perfection, tender, delicately flavored, and had us dueling with our forks over the last piece. We each ordered steak frites because we wanted beef (so please dock us for lack of variety) but every element of the meal from plate to sauce to tenderness of the cut was done with care. We could observe from our table that the staff complemented each other as a team, and treated us like company. Yes, it's a bar. No pretenses. The TV screens were showing the ALDS playoffs. But our meal and the courtesy, warmth, and professionalism of the Corner Bar's people made our evening memorable. Highly recommended.

We love the Corner Bar for a quiet, casual dinner. Celebrated our anniversary here the last 2 years.

There is 1 kitchen serving 6 restaurants in this building. The food is really well prepared, but the wait time is extremely long for lunch. We arrived at 11am when they opened, ordered at our first opportunity & didn't receive our food for an hour & a half. The table next to us walked out.

We are regulars, or were at the Hotel Boulderado. We live here and loved to sit on the patio and have drinks and lunch or dinner. We went two weekends ago. The regular wait staff was running like crazy, understaffed, new person didn't know what they were doing, drinks delivered to the wrong table. Bar glasses overloaded at the bar. Bartender, one, working their butt off. Since the hotel was bought by Hilton, the food quality has decreased to hotel chain mediocrity. Staffing is ridiculous. So sad! We alternate between the Boulderado and the St. Julien. We'll be at the St. Julien.

It took half an hour after ordering for our food to come. And then it was cold and poor quality. The server did her best but it really feels like the kitchen cannot manage the number of tables they're trying to serve.

Hostess refused to sit us (party of 3) outside despite several empty tables and having previously made a reservation. We were seated inside next to the line for the hostess station. Two parties after us were immediately seated at outdoor tables. When we asked her about this, she mumbled some excuse about the outside tables for reservations only, which we had, but never attempted to improve our seating. Ordered an appetizer which was forgotten. Manager became aware and tried to make amends with a partial comp. Wait staff tried but seemed a bit overwhelmed. However, it was the disappointing hostess experience that left a lasting impression.

Every time I visit Boulder for work, I stop by this restaurant to grab my favorite burger. The 'corner bar burger' is a delicious fusion of sweet and savory. Highly recommended!

Tonight things were taking a little longer than normal and the manager came out and informed me that during preparation they had accidentally dropped my burger. She said they were promptly remaking it, but for my trouble and the extra time it took, they offered to cover my drink and comp a dessert.

Tonight I felt taken care of and I was very appreciative of the hospitality.

I look forward to coming back next time I'm in town!

We loved our outdoor table, but service was slow, unapologetic, and for that reason, I give the experience 3 stars.

Wes always takes great care of us. The food is always great, the service is top notch, and the ambiance is timeless and ubique.

Talked to few locals, had some beers and felt out of place. Mountain Sun felt a lot friendlier, this is not a warm vibe, actually very cold.

They just released a new menu, and the “corner bar” burger is a true 10/10 menu item, even when you account for price. Best restaurant burger i’ve had in years
