Good flavors but not quite fully Asian. The beef rice dish I got was also very spicy. I would ask for mild if you have any sensitivities.

Ginger Pig is definitely a must if you’re in the Boulder Denver area Not only is the food phenomenal. The staff is just great between Tasha Alexander Ward Grahm Luis and the rest of the staff are just all around great people very accommodating, generous, and most importantly very Sincere I’ve grown to know the staff and altogether they are the realist crew on The Hilll , genuine ,personable, and always glad to see you..

Get the bento box it’s actually a great deal. Some of the best food in boulder for the price.

Denver location is great and the food at both is fire but this one is never open when they say they are/don’t answer the phone, the menu is also sadly much smaller and has less variety idk what’s up :/ can’t ever seem to get a order in

Their new order menu sucks. It really was like my favorite place then they destroyed it with their cheap quality. Super disappointed tastes like it was reheated.

The Ginger Pig used to be one of my go-to spots on the hill with their authentic dishes, great flavors, and a sense that everything was made fresh with care. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Ever since the new menu rollout, the quality has really taken a hit.
The food now tastes like it’s been pre-cooked, frozen, and reheated rather than made to order. The seasoning is either way over seasoned and inedible or it’s just bland, and the although the prices are lower it doesn’t justify the decline in quality. It feels like they expanded their menu and overhead beyond what they can support, which has sacrificed quality in the process.
I really wanted to love it again, but this 2nd experience with their new menu was a huge letdown. The Ginger Pig went from being a standout favorite on the hill, to just another overhyped spot cutting corners.

I laughed a little bit after opening my container of food because for $14 not including tip I got only a couple lumps of tofu… Absolutely 100% a waste of my money. No rice, no side, just a couple lumps. It was more than two dollars a lump. I assumed when I first ordered that with $14 I would at least have some leftovers but boy was I wrong.

Sorry, but this is the worst asian imitation food I'd ever eaten. You would think being recognized by Michelin would actually mean something. It doesn't. Ordered the char siu pork (drier than the Sahara dessert) with classic bowl and korean fried chicken (soggy slop) with banh mi bowl. Char siu didn't even taste like char siu. Its suppose to be tender and moist. Not dry! Korean fried chicken also did not taste like korean fried chicken. No hint of spice at all. The hotel I was staying at was only two minutes away. Fried chicken skin should not fall off in that amount of time or get soggy. Threw it away after eating 5%. Waste of $38.

I went for for a bento box late at night and got the Karagge Chicken and it was so amazingly tender. And the salad and lumpia were great as well. Will definitely be going back!

Walked by and decided to try it out because of these 2 signs.

Kimchi hot dog was maybe a little better than a hot dog at a stadium concession stand? Hot dog bun was out of a bag and it tore apart after 1 bite from the kimchi and condiments. I ended up just eating everything unconstructed.
Cucumber salad was basic and underwhelming. Although, it was the tastiest item I ordered.
Veggie egg rolls, about the same quality as a panda express.

I guess I expected more for the hype.

Pleasantly surprised by this one—great taste, generous portions, and solid value for $12. Just taking off one star because the lumpia didn’t have the Filipino flavor (though I appreciated the effort!) but the karaage was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I’d go back anytime to try the other offerings!

Got the bento box but we never got the rice with it. I really wanted the rice. Called them multiple times and no one picked up. I really wanted the rice. Food was good but would be better with the rice.

Char siu bento was fire. Nice crisp on the edges but still tender + great flavor. The pickled cucumbers were a nice refreshing addition in between pork bites. Egg roll was pretty good. Tons of rice, lots of food for your $. Karaage was just okay, a bit tough and tendony at times. But imma definitely be back. Gotta try some of the hot dogs. Also they have calpis now per my suggestion a number of months ago 😊
