Family get together in separate room and that holds 12. Lovely and private. Perfectly prepared Beef Wellington. Excellent service without hovering. Such a charming old world feeling.
We were a party of 4. I ordered the Mussels. After waiting 15-20 minutes I was informed that the mussels were not available. The other 3 orders were prepared but everyone had to wait until my substitute choice, Corned Beef & Poached Eggs, was prepared before all 4 entrees were finally brought out.
This restaurant has been inconsistent in the past. They were exceptional last night. The food was superb, the service excellent and the ambiance is always great. Wonderful overall all evening.
