Closing time is a nightmare at the Laughing Goat. They start closing 1.5 hrs early, with tables and chairs loudly scraping, employees throwing things, employees huffing and puffing around — they make sure you know they are closing at 6. So intense. NOT PLEASANT AT ALL.
I took down this review but was just blocked by the Laughing Goat on instagram after sharing my opinion about this incident. So reposted.
I’m glad to chat about this with the owner and take this down if they can see my side of this.

Only in Boulder for a couple days, this is the third coffee shop that I tried same order 12 ounce Americano to drink in the cafe. All three were good: the Laughing Goat was the best, then Ozo, and Beleza.
The cashier was very friendly, but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the barista. Even though we ordered to have our drinks in, she insisted on giving us a paper cup. When we asked for proper cups, she reacted with an unfriendly attitude and seemed annoyed. This does not really fit with the café’s concept of presenting itself as environmentally friendly.

The baristas at the Laughing Goat were so friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in.. I came here two mornings in a row to study because it was so cozy here and the coffee and pastries were amazing!
Highly recommend this cute coffee shop if you are in town. The blueberry pastry is 10/10 perfection!!!

Great place to hang for a school project. Quiche was poorly made -basically a loose omelet. Dogs are welcome here!

Spent $15 on a sandwich pressed burnt egg n cheddar sandwich, and an incredibly weak and mediocre cold brew. For a cafe that links itself to Trieste (best coffee in the world) it's a lackluster place.

Despite the name, this place does not have goat milk. Very good espresso though.

I've been getting coffee here for a long time, i'd have to say they have the greatest most laid back attitude. The coffee is good. The whole thing is nice. It's a bathrooms are usually clean. The staff is friendly and speedy. All in all, it's a great place to sit out for a cup of coffee.
