The low light and fast service had me upon entry. This is the exact kind of place you'd imagine if "modern Colorado bistro" was in mind. The drink, a French 75 was tasteful, same as the ambiance. The braised short ribs could be a on a TV show. Would eat again, would recommend.
Sadly, this wonderful restaurant has closed forever. The food, service, and ambience were superb. It was a favorite of many locals and James and Brennan, owner and bartender, became personal friends with the clientele (along with too many of the staff to mention). 4580 occupied a great space along the continuously-developing North Broadway corridor in Boulder; hopefully, a new and just-as-good restaurant will take over and prosper. McKENNA was a superb server for our party of four. She was kind, attentive and professional, and gave us excellent suggestions for our dinners and wines. Thank you all, especially McKenna, she's a treasure who represents North End at 4580 very well.
