Good place to go once in a while. Service can get hectic on the weekends. Chicken tenders are dry and ordinary. Famous “fried chicken” is not as tasty as advertised, but not bad. Great selection of beers and appetizers. Again, this is a place you need to go once and move on, nothing especial, in my opinion. A little bit on the overrated side.

Service was fine. Host was very helpful as I was on crutches.. Our server Grace was very nice. Beer was very good.. Had chicken sandwich grilled vs fried on white toast. The chicken was half the size of the bread so felt I was paying $16 for dry white toast.. Couldn't have been 4 ounces of chicken. No side came with it so a half side for $7 to make it a meal was way over priced. Very poor value. Big Red F is dropping the ball on this concept.

Menu looked great but the service was really bad.

Dimly lit, not recently cleaned, and poor management. Said they would honor a deal online and then 15 minutes into sitting down, they came back and decided that they couldn’t because they didn’t have a button for it. Give me a break—frustrating because I had high hopes.

Great laid back place with cozy booths, delicious chicken, great beer and good service. Highly recommend chicken wings - Buffalo and Post Dry Rub. The chicken tenders are also very good. They also have delicious pot pies to take home and bake.

I ate here a few weeks ago. It was my first time eating at a restaurant since I got a celiac diagnosis. They were so considerate and careful with my dietary needs. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and I didnt feel unwell at all after eating there. If you are looking for celiac safe dining, definitely consider eating at Post Chicken and BeerDietary restrictions: They are very good about gluten-free food

Really wonderful experience here. We tried to go to another spot (totally different cuisine) and had the worst service so we left before we could even order and happily came to Post. Our server was delightful, genuine, and accommodating. Our food was excellent all around. The portions are generous and after a day of brewery hopping, we probably could have shared plates. The deviled eggs were as delicious as all the reviews promised. The “thigh fries” were fun and an enormous portion. For entrees we got the chicken sandwich, a 4 piece bone in order, and chicken tenders. The side dishes were great, especially the collards. Perfect umami flavors- savory, a little sweet, a perfect tang, a little hint of smoke from the pork belly.. just perfect. The food and atmosphere were great but the service is what drove me to write this review. I’m just sorry I don’t remember the waitress’s name.

Had a great experience. One of our party was 20 minutes late, no problem even on a Friday night. We ordered appetizers and they did not push us. They claimed the food took a long time, which we didn't notice. They gave us a free biscuit plate, then told us our food would be entirely comped when the meal did come. Which was not late by our estimation at all. (Maybe :25-:30 for fried chicken?)They were getting five stars anyway, but it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

Everything is great! Get the Brussels sprouts! Also, get less chicken tenders than you think you want, they’re huge!

Avery, the manager, and the entire kitchen were amazing. One of the few places our celiac family can enjoy a delicious meal safely.
