This place has such a cool underground interior filled with a ton of artwork painted on the wall and graffiti everywhere. The service was meh and left much to be desired in terms of attentiveness. I thought the chicken nachos weren't that good but I would definitely get the buff mac again.

Great food in a really cool location. Gets very busy on the weekends but if youre just trying to grab some lunch you should have no issue getting a table.

We tasted burgers and sandwiches and they’re so good! The atmosphere is super friendly and relaxed and I would definitely go again and recommend.

Waitress was awful, forgot our drinks until the food came out. Don’t bother trying to get a beer you will get 1 beer in 1.5hrs!! Food was great and atmosphere was awesome, waitresses ruined it all!!

The Sink is known for its burgers and the BYO with straw onions and blue cheese I just had didn't disappoint. Addictive. Maybe it's the best burger I've had. Ever. We sat at the bar and our bartender/server was exceptional. Personable, attentive, smart, funny - pretty much as good as it gets for food and service. My only knock was the price. If The Sink's prices were more reasonable, I'd eat there often. As it is, I only go there once in a great while. I guess, if you serve great food and provide great service, you can charge really high prices.

The food was excellent! 10/10 best burger I've had in a long time.

The service was horrible, our waitress forgot to take orders from two people, we had two 10 year olds order chicken strips, when the food came one of them was given a kids meal, the other was given a full size adult meal. Our server never came back to our table for refills, and we wanted to order an additional side of mac and cheese but couldn't because she never came back to check on us after the food was dropped off.

Also, when the bill came and we asked to split it down the middle, we did not get to see an itemized copy of the bill - our table was a party of 9, and we realized after we had already paid and tipped that it was likely there was already an automatic 20% gratuity added. Which is fine, I understand, but had we known we would not have added additional tips for such sub-par service.

I had just finished hiking the Rocky Mountains, was driving back to my hotel in Denver along with trying to figure out where to stop for dinner in Boulder when I came across this very famous hole in the wall. On a whim, I decided to check it out. The first thing I noticed was how busy the place was (turns out it was family weekend lol) along with the incredible graffiti everywhere. No space, inch, nook or cranny was safe from it = a true work of art. But what about the food? From the soup & salad to the sandwich, it was divinely delicious. The service was also impeccable, especially considering how busy they were. I can’t wait to come back and try more of what The Sink has to offer the next time I’m back in Boulder! 🚰🥘😋

The menu has a good variety and the food we ordered was good. However, it could not make up for how disengaged and borderline hostile the service was. Two out of our three dishes were incorrect and it took a really long time for the redone correct meals to come out. We remained patient and understanding because it was a busy time, but the server was curt and barely tried to help. When it came time to pay the bill, she basically tossed the change back on the table and didn't say a word.

you know it's a college town spot when... it has so much character it could carry a conversation with you.

on my list to visit again when I'm back. there was a wait for a table, and an even longer wait when we left. parking would be a problem, but Uber from the campus would solve that easily.

there were a few mixed drinks I'll have to try next time as well.

the Mac and cheese with brisket burnt ends, was good. missed the part that it has jalapenos, but it added that extra kick. the burnt ends were a little more 'burnt' than i hoped.

I'll have to plan several visits to make my way thru the menu. there's always next final season.
