Now 14 years on, Upslope still my fave brewery in Boulder. Love the vibe of small tasting room & bar with super friendly service! And now.. a delicious N/A beer for those remote work days
Away from the hustle of downtown Boulder is this sweet neighborhood spot to enjoy a relaxed vibe and perhaps the best Japanese lager in the country. Not much ambiance outside (a few tables on the parking lot,) but the inside is welcome and family-friendly.
Just a few doors up from BOCO Cider was a quick stop to check out Upslope. The atmosphere was a pretty cool laid-back vibe and the bartender was really friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. For something different they had a New Zealand Style IPA, hops grown in New Zealand, which made it low in a citrus flavor but had a like a nice punch of stone fruit. I really enjoyed this one and could easily enjoy multiple of these. The other beer that stood out was Lee Hill Series Vol....
