I’ve been coming to Village Coffee Shop for years, and it still feels like a true hometown gem. The food is classic and comforting—nothing fancy, just hearty, well-prepared diner favorites—and the prices are very reasonable. What makes it special is the staff remembering regulars and greeting everyone like family. There’s a cozy, familiar energy that makes you feel right at home every visit. For anyone looking for that genuine small-town diner experience, this place is hard to beat.

Village virgins no more! Fun little old school diner, but they do it right. Huge pancake, a little crisp on the edge and super soft and fluffy in the middle, soo good. Best hash browns I think I have ever had. Husband had the breakfast burrito that he said was excellent as well. They also have the really good ice, and gave me a to go refill of ice (and tea lol). Super friendly staff, very quick service. Will definitely go back next time we're in the Boulder area

I have been going to The Village all my life and I love that we still have a few places left in Boulder with our hometown feeling. Food quality has stayed great- this is a diner, this is not exotic, if you don't like diners then don't come here- and I think they have held the line on pricing as much as they can. If you're a regular, they remember you and make you feel welcome. The Village is not hurting for business, and they could provide adequate service and it would be fine, but the employees consistently go above and beyond whether you're there early and they have a little more time or whether they are flying through the rush. When I am there I feel like I am back in my hometown again.

Great quick breakfast spot in Boulder. Sat at the bar and had my food within 10 minutes. Food was fantastic and the price was probably the most fair you could find in Boulder.
