I had heard a lot about Ollie's that had me really excited to find my neighborhood bar and grill. What I found was a tourist trap with way overpriced food.

There's a lot they are doing right. Sports bar on the first floor with good sound and plenty of TVs. I was able to enjoy the Lions Vikings game, and the place had a great atmosphere.

The food is good but nothing I would rave about. They advertise the best burger and wings in Breckenridge, but I have had better elsewhere in town. That isn't to say that the food is bad either. I enjoyed the wings, burger, and pickle chips I shared with friends. I just expected more. Especially considering the price point.

They do have an extensive selection of craft Colorado brews on tap, and that is also something I appreciate. The service is attentive and I do dig the novelty of a floating bar almost two miles above sea level.

My main issues come down to price and the stools they have. I found the stools at the table to be very uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time. Which is important when your watching a full game.

And the prices are just way too high. $28 for 14 wings. $22 for Mac n cheese (with meat). $19 for my burger. Yes it's Breck, yes it's a tourist town, but I think those pieces are steep even for Breck.

Anyways, it's okay for what it is but it wasn't the hangout I was hoping it could be.

Parking: There's two city parking lots nearby, with free parking after 5 pm.

Kid-friendliness: There are almost zero low tables, it's generally arranged with darker colors, noisy, and there's a lot of alcohol being consumed here. I would take the kids somewhere else.

Great low key bar and grill. We only had wings and a Cuban sandwich, but both were excellent. Good bartenders, a nice selection of local whiskeys, and good beers on tap. Lot's of TVs to watch sports. Compared to a standard pub or tavern, it gets 5 stars without question. Is it a luxury dining establishment? No. Don't come here looking for white table cloths, chateaubriand and Chateau Latour. But do come for great comfort food, good drinks and comfortable surroundings.

Super glad we found this place. It's not on the main roads, so we've overlooked it many trips we've made to Breck.

The tuna was delicious and a huge plate. Picture is about halfway through.

The music was on point as well. Different genres played, but I knew every song.

Really enjoyed this place. Will definitely be going back.

I expect the restaurants in Breck to be a bit spendy, but this place was awful and wildly expensive for the food we got. My first impression was the smell. It honestly smelled like mildewed carpet and faint urine. We ordered 2 appitizers, 3 sandwiches, the pulled pork mac n cheese bowl, a beer, and a boozy cider, and a Dr. Pepper. Classic pub food. $150, y'all. We asked for a few substitutions, unaware that mashed potatoes and salad instead of fries would be an extra $3-4 bucks/ea and a tiny cup of ranch would be an extra buck or two. Then they added on a 2% charge to use a credit card. I have zero qualms about a $150 meal... just not when it should be a $75 meal. The food was just okay, with the exception of the cheese steak. It was quite tasty. If this place was only a bar, it might be OK. Expensive, but OK. I wouldn't pick it as your dinner option.

Besides the amazing location of this bar and restaurant, the atmosphere was amazing! The music playlist was 10/10! Their wait staff was attentive and super accommodating. They were exceptionally knowledgeable about what college football games were on and willing to change channels and TVs to accommodate multiple fan groups in one area. The foot was delicious. Highly recommend their cauliflower wings and nachos!

This is the first negative review I’ve ever given a restaurant, but I am embarrassed for the management team that they have such an awful bartender representing this establishment. The opening bartender on Dec 9 could not have been more rude to my family when we entered the restaurant 10 minutes before opening. We were not aware that Ollie’s began service at 11, and given that the customer door was open, we were not expecting to be met with so much hostility, upon entering. We would have been happy to wait by the door for a table, assuring the morning team that we would stay out of the way for the final 10 minutes of opening, but unfortunately, the bartender rudely insisted this was not an option. Instead, my family (including my very pregnant sister) was instructed to wait on the porch in the snow/3 degree weather. We didn’t even mind being asked to leave, but the frosty way it was communicated felt extremely unwarranted. I would think a central establishment in a tourist destination would prioritize hospitality, but I was incredibly disappointed. Safe to say we won’t be returning to Ollie’s if this is the standard of care that can be expected at this restaurant.

The pulled pork nachos are to die for! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and the staff is down to Earth and never snobby.
