Best little family style sushi ever. Wasabi Breckenridge is very close to what you might find in a small village in Japan. It is truly unpretentious, cozy and welcoming. If you’re looking for fancy American style sushi, or in J. Well’s case perhaps Dominoes Pizza is more your style (he gave them 5 stars), Denver has you covered. For those of you looking for truly delicious sushi, gyoza and the best miso soup you’ll ever taste, Wasabi is a little wabi-sabi gem at 10,000 feet.
Easily the best and most reasonably priced sushi in Breckenridge. The owners are the ones cooking everything and running the place so it’s very much a small family business vibe. Server was very friendly and sushi was very good. Would recommend this place over others on Main Street that will charge nearly twice as much for a lesser quality roll.
You pay for the food here not the ambiance. Small, inside a local mall, plastic tables with vinyl tablecloth... But the food and service were phenomenal. I am admittedly a snobby New Yorker when it comes to sushi and I genuinely enjoyed the food here.
