“Got an order for pick up last night. Ordered the chicken tikka masala 2/5 spice level, the lamb tikka masala 4/5 spice level and an order of the veggie samosas. Everything was very good. My husband wished his was a little bit spicier but mine was perfect. Didn’t take any pics at the time. Do wish the portion of meat was slightly more for the price but everything was very tasty and fresh!“
“My husband and I have gone to this restaurant multiple times now and have never once been disappointed. The owner is a super friendly guy and all the servers are smiling. The atmosphere is calm and causal. Now the food, I cannot say enough about the food. The Famous Chicken Tikka Masala has the best taste, with flavor that melts in your mouth and tender chicken. The Lamb Rogan Josh had such tender meat, I am not usually a fan of lamb but I would definitely order this again. Then there is the Naan, the garlic cheese Naan is my favorite, it’s always super fresh and hot. Honestly I have had Indian food from China, Tibet, and Africa and this is still my favorite. Amazing restaurant- eat here I promise you won’t regret it!!!“
“I went to this place due to a recommendation by an acquantaince and happened to be in the area.I got there about 30min prior to closing before dinner. The service was pretty quick and friendly. The place was clean and food tasted fresh.I ordered. Chicken Tikka masala mild and just wish or would order spicy next time but it's difficult to gauge as was my first time at this place. I ordered samosas and some garlic Naan. The garlic Naan while different is some of the best if not the best Naan I've had ever. The samosas were delicious and crisped just wish the flavor would have been more potato based while I like flavors just perhaps the multitude of flavors were bit for me that day. They were delicious but maybe softer texture filling would have made them perfect.I will definitely return and try other of their dishes specially lamb and perhaps some desserts. Thanks for great experience.“
“I’ve never had momos before, but I will definitely be back! The guy who took our order explained the menu very well and answered all the questions I had. He was also able to suggest vegetarian/vegan options for me! He was friendly and welcoming also, and took great care of us. Food came out quickly, and was great. I got the combo plate, and the vegan momos were my favorite, follow by the samosas. The only thing is that I don’t handle spicy food very well, and even their mild was a little too spicy for me. Just a warning if you’re a wimp like me when it comes to spicy food!! Otherwise, everything was awesome. 5 stars!“
“This is a great place to get Indian food. It was delicious! The cheese naan was rich, the paneer saag hit the spot, and the samosas were excellent. To make it even better, the service was friendly and great. We could order online!! We will definitely be returning.Dietary restrictions: They were able to make my husband's curry dairy free, and that was awesome.“
“Omg!!! I’m not sure how I found this new gem in Thornton but I’m glad I did. I have tried there Mo:Mo, Chicken Tandoori (loved how it comes smoky and sizzling) and (oof) Gulab Jamun, soooo goood. I also did a take out because they’re little too far from me. They have a good happy hour menu and a full bar. I’ll be back for happy hour next time.Service is a top notch, owner (husband and wife) came and introduced himself. Loved this family owned/operated restaurant. I will definitely be back and recommend everyone to try once, you won’t be disappointed. Keep it up guys!!!Parking: Huge lot, you’ll always find a spot.“
“Perhaps because this restaurant is off the beaten path of Pearl Street, it hasn’t gotten the recognition it deserves. My vegetarian thali was top notch and the server even gave me an extra dollop of saag when I asked. The service was friendly and quick and I’ll be back here many more “
“Zaika is a family favorite and we come here often. They are able to accommodate our gluten free members as well as our vegetarians while keeping the omnivores happy. We especially enjoy the crab option, although my favorite dish, the eggplant and kale, has sadly been removed from the menu at the Erie location and, frankly, might send us back to their Broomfield location in the future, where it still seems to be available. All the dishes are well seasoned and delicious.“
“I have been a frequenter of Yak and Yeti for many years now. I have been to multiple locations of theirs (my favorite was when they were in Westminster where the Tamale Kitchen is now). I think that if you have never been to Yak and Yeti and are looking for a good Indian/Nepalese buffet, look no further. This IS the place. The buffet as a lot of good selections and they have a great drinks menu. That being said, I now feel like I need to review this place as someone who has seen it ebb and flow over the years. I think that this location is obviously the nicest interior and exterior as the other locations are pretty much just buildings with some stuff on the walls and really good food. Though, I don't think that really changes the quality of food I just thought it should be known that if you are curious about the difference of locations, that is going to be a big one. I think this particular location has the widest beer selection as well but that could be false now. It used to be that way years ago though.I will say that every time I have been to Yak and Yeti I get the buffet. I have never even looked at a menu. You should know that if you have never been that they will expect you to get the buffet because everyone does. I have seen the wait staff get kind of confused when someone does ask for a menu but they will obviously abide and not be rude about it. The buffet is king though and why people go.So, I have mentioned that the food is great and it is. Four stars alone for the food. But other things are being taken into consideration with this review and I will be the one that will say it if no one else will....Yak and Yeti is resting on its laurels. The food is great but never really changes. If it does change it is that the preparation of the already known dishes changes slightly. The flavors are always on point but the flavors are the same level of depth as they have always been. Yak and Yeti has become so stable that if you go you better find something to become your usual because that is what you will always get. Maybe they are hiding some stuff on the menu that excels from what I am stating but I don't think so.The locations all have this slightly deteriorated look that shows that they could operate at the same level as they do now and never be worried about it, and from what I know of their fan base. That is true.Their servers just exist to grab drink orders but they also don't have a normal wait staff set up. It is like a group of people are your wait staff and you can pretty much just grab anyone to get you anything. If you haven't been before this can probably be confusing but they EXPECT that you have been before or are with someone that has been because that is how this place runs. The food is great but if you don't "get" what makes Yak and Yeti good the first time you go they won't wow you the second time so you probably don't need to go back. I can tell you though that I will go back and enjoy Yak and Yeti for years to come because their food is now a source of comfort. Maybe that will be you and maybe that won't be.“
“Janakpur has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. We always order extra food so we have leftovers for the next day.Great flavor, spice levels are as expected and never to much.We normally do takeout, but on occasion we will eat in and the staff is always warm and welcoming as well as very knowledgeable of allergens.“
“I used to think Spice Room was the best Indian food I've tried in Denver, but NOT ANYMORE. Curry Kingdom has the best flavors I've had for Indian Food, hands down.Amazing flavors, absolutely authentic style. My server, "Promise" had top notch customer service as well. I'm glad I randomly stumbled into this spot. I had 3 different dishes and they were all amazing. I will be back again, to me Indian food is about flavor and being non-americanized like so many places fail at..not these guys. This will be the go to spot and the prices were on point and cheaper than Spice Room for the masalas. Flavors = crushmode here.“
“The owner of the restaurant just called me a working class driver (in a tone that sounded like he was talking to his slave from a throne) for asking him about a wait time on a delivery order for uber. I don't think my son or I will be eating here for a 7th time, we will take our hard earned lower class money to Yak & Yetti for some better made food and company. People like him that are dismissive of another persons right to service based on financial class will come back as a snake...“
“This place never disappoints! As a vegetarian the food is amazing and when I ate meat the food was the best. If you're a vegetarian that's tired of saag being the only choice, look no further because Taj has so many vegetarian/vegan options just be careful because you may become addicted! ?“
“I usually have 5-star experience of the food and service at the Wheat Ridge location. Coming to this location on a busy Saturday, the service was a little inexperienced (nothing terrible), and the yellow rice at the buffet smelled old and was losing its color. Other than that, the food and atmosphere was amazing!“
“We love Jewel of India, and missed it so much during the lockdown. When they finally reopened, we were so excited, until we discovered they didn't have the buffet anymore. That was NOT good news. But some time ago, the buffet returned. It's back, and as good as ever!Parking: It's in the same shopping center as a King Soopers. Plenty of parking.“
“I went there to have lunch yesterday. The price is quite affordable and the portion is so big.We ordered chicken biryani with rice also boneless chicken makamal. We waited for couple minutes before they served it. It was a big portion for us.The service was great and the food was delicious. Recommend for people who want to eat something halal. Also affordable. The place is comfy and clean as well“
“The staff is absolutely amazing.... super friendly, constantly refilling water, cleaning up etc...love them for this...food is genuine and tasty! They can accommodate celiac/GF if needed and do a great job of it. Atmosphere is nothing to brag about but it's clean.. if you like this type of food...i certainly recommend it.Dietary restrictions: My wife is celiac and has zero issues eating here...huge bonus“
“they always have a nice and quiet place, everyone is super friendly and helpful. now on the food part. AMAZING DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. where do i even start, the nann is so fluffy and delicious, all the food has flavor and savory. this has to be my favorite place :’)“
