The Brown Dog Cafe is a family favorite for over 10 years. We love all the quiches and variety of pastries. The staff is friendly and it's a great atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit

Waited 30 min. Never got my food. I found out later the cashier never entered it on the ticket despite us conversing and confirming I wanted a burrito. And It stank like BO bad in there. And all the tables were dirty.

I have to stop in any time I’m in BV. Every single time their lattes bring my heart joy. This last time I treated myself to a pound of their house roasted beans. The barista suggested I try the Flores, since I love a dark roast. YUMMMMMMMMY!

Stop for a brief cup of coffee and pumpkin chocolate chip bar while watching a storm move over Mount Evans on Highway 24 to the north. Emma was friendly and funny at the counter. Coffee was delicious and hot and the bar was delicious.

We were in Buena Vista for two days and came here both days.
The coffee is delicious, my hub enjoyed his raspberry muffin. They stock a brand of cranberry and mixed fruits drink which our 8yr old autistic son loved. He also enjoyed the decaf oat mylk latte I ordered the first morning so we got one for him the second.
The staff are lovely and friendly. Nice to see normal prices rather than some of the extortionate tourist-tax prices we’ve paid in some places.

They posted this strawberry matcha drink on Facebook and I was really excited to try it. I showed the cashier the photo and they were confused/ not sure what the drink was called. I then read the caption that had the name of the drink. There were two people because the girl taking my order couldn’t figure it out. They entered it, I waited. What I received was basically a strawberry smoothie with no matcha. I’m not usually one to say anything when an order is wrong but it’s not what I wanted/ what I expected and did not taste anything like matcha. I brought it up and said I wasn’t sure this is what i ordered. And the guy told me, no it’s right. I said well the picture I showed you the drink is green and this doesn’t taste like matcha and that’s when a woman came up and told me it’s because I got it with strawberry…. The name of the drink was a matcha strawberry….. anyway. They didn’t offer to remake it or refund me… just gaslit me into thinking I got the right drink… I didn’t drink it and ended up giving it away to someone who was with me. It wasn’t bad, just not what I ordered/ wanted.

I had a great experience at Brown Dog Colorado Cafe. The coffee was really good—I ordered an iced coffee and it was exactly what I needed. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the stop even better. Definitely a nice spot to relax and enjoy a quality coffee.
