The Winery At Holy Cross Abbey

Still doing wine tastings. Still a great place to buy award wining wines. Great staff and a great venue. Come enjoy a cool glass of wine and some beautiful scenery.

It was a nice way to spend some time in the shade on a Saturday afternoon. Listening to live music enjoying a glass of wine and the company of my wife.

What a fun place to visit, and the wine ain't too shabby either!

The property is beautiful. The people that were working were very nice and knowledgeable.

Put your tasting room and gift shop in the abbey. We are all coming to see the inside of the abbey, the abbey.

I’m gonna be honest, I felt a bit betrayed. Sure we can walk around the grounds, but you know what we are all coming there for. Sure the wine, sweets were great, but let’s not play friend. You know why we nerds are really there. To see inside the abbey. That’s it. Let’s make this a permanent move. You could even be open during events. Boom. Come on. It would be so cool.

Really enjoyed the wine tasting, went with the sweet wines and loved them all. Apple blossom was the best. They also had 25% off for 25 years, well worth it.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Colorado. The wine is delicious and the atmosphere setting outside is incredibly peaceful. Super cute gift store with lots of choices.

We had the most incredible experience at The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey! From the moment you drive up the beautiful, tree-lined entrance with the historic abbey in the background, you know you’re in for something special.
The tasting room is charming, and the staff is exceptionally welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They walked us through the tasting menu with the perfect balance of professionalism and friendly conversation, making us feel right at home.
As for the wine—absolutely spectacular. The **Merlot** and **Cabernet Sauvignon** are rich and beautifully balanced, but the real standout for us was the **Wild Cañon Harvest**. We couldn't leave without buying a few bottles to take home.
After our tasting, we grabbed a glass and sat outside on the gorgeous, shaded patio. It is the perfect, serene spot to unwind and soak in the Colorado scenery. Whether you are a local or just passing through on your way to the Royal Gorge, this place is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back!

Wine was good..ordered a wine cracker and cheese tray and was definitely put off i had to cut everything myself and open it..lol

We have been coming here since 2012. The place used to be charming. Last weekend we flew in from another state and drove for over 2 hrs specifically to visit thr winery.
We were greeted, if you can say that, by a rude, indifferent man with long hair(nothing against his hair, just proving description)
He didn't explain any products to us, didn't help with selection, dismissed me when I asked about Apple Blossom.
They don't make cheese boards anymore, but rather give you a knife and scissors to cut your own cheese you can purchase there for a ridiculous price. No water in the court yard. Ugly picnic tables replaced beautiful tables. We were hoping to ship some wine home as we always used to do. But not with this this customer service. Truly disappointing. It used to be a beautiful place.
