Applebee's Grill + Bar offers a mixed dining experience. The pretzel sticks and fries are praised, and the food, service, price, and atmosphere are all excellent. The French onion soup is delicious but suffers from shrinkflation. The service, however, is consistently praised, with an excellent server providing great attitude and service despite being busy. The burger was cooked perfectly and the portions were large. Wonton tacos are still a favorite appetizer. The chicken penne Alfredo was yummy. The bar area had TVs with football games. Applebee's provides a satisfactory but not exceptional dining experience, with some hits and misses in the food and value for money.
