It was my sons Birthday and we ve decided to try this place for the first time (live in Castle Rock for over 7 years, never been before), the food was absolutely delicious, the variety of side dishes are impressive. I ordered Ranch marinated pork chop and Loaded mushed potatoes and it was absolutely delicious!.. The service was AWEFULL, I meant it was ZERO SERVICE. The server didn’t introduce himself, just took our order and dissapeared for the whole time. Never checked back on us: how’s the food tasting, if we need any boxes, if we need anything else (bday dessert perhaps?..). We just got our food (someone else brought it) and that’s it. We put our credit cards down for him to see that we re ready to go, 10 minutes later - nothing. He simply forgot about us; it was on Tuesday night and it wasn’t even busy!.. between three servers the restaurant had like 9 tables. We wanted drink refills - forget about it - no refills here! We just wanted to gooooo! I had to get up, found the server and ask him to collect the payment. He took our cards and disappeared!.. I had to find him once again and say: please, we need to go to celebrate my son’s bday at home, just let us go, we need to pay!… ugh spent there way too longer then planned. Want to come back for food some day, but scared the service is going to be the same…. ZERO SERVICE has been received! Very disappointed!

My first time at a Black-Eyed Pea location and I was pleasantly surprised! Nice selection on the menu, but since I was there for Sunday lunch, I decided to order the daily special of a half chicken. The food was great. I'll be back!
