First visit:
This is a small restaurant that packs massive selections and unbeatable tastes. It is new to the area and we went in for an early dinner. At first the prices of all you can eat look expensive but once you see how much food and what selections come with the meals you won't be disappointed. Service was amazing and friendly, and we left with big smiles and full bellies. What a great addition to the Castle Rock area. Will be back.

Revised 12/19/25:

On this visit we were advised that the all you can each plates are no longer available for unknown reasons. There was virtually no one in the restaurant and one employee hiding at the back table. The rear door was propped open during a heavy wind storm which made the inside cold and uncomfortable. The employee got up from her winter slumber to inform us that the main attraction was no more due to something about customs??? Made no sense to us either so we left without eating which did not concern the employees one bit. I believe this is the death knell for this restaurant and it will not be around much longer. All said, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Don't order through them for delivery. It's my Birthday waited all week. Ordered through their website. Tells me what time. Confirms the time for 6:20, yay my food. 5 minutes later your order has been cancelled due to the restaurant is closed. Thanks.

We have been twice. The first time we had a good experience but unfortunately the 2nd time was bad enough that we will not be returning. We came in on a slow weekday. There was one table seated in the restaurant. We stood there for at least 5 mins before any of the staff acknowledged us. Finally one of the staff sitting at a back table begrudgingly stood and came to take our order. We ordered and took it to go. Once we got home we were so excited to eat. As I dug in I felt something in my mouth it was a very long brown hair. So disgusting. We tried contacting the restaurant to let them know and we were brushed off. Incredibly disappointing and gross.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT
They show pictures of the standard KB grill but don’t have it. They don’t have the unlimited BBQ. They need to take the picture offline and update it online. We drove over an hour to eat here….

Took my nephew for his 8th birthday...we absolutely loved it! Food was delicious! And our server was Awesome!!! Will definitely be coming back and bringing others.

This is the honest truth. Usually people don’t review unless there’s a problem.

So that’s what happened here. However, this place is not getting the accurate rating it deserves.

So I’ll tell you exactly what happened for our time there.

First, you’re greeted and seated promptly. (This happened with each guest I witnessed)
They come and get your order quickly.
Bring your food quickly.

Korean food tastes genuinely authentic.
GREAT portion sizes I was STUFFED and trust me, most Asian places I leave feeling like I could eat another meal.

As many sides as you want are included in the main meal price!

Great for vegetarians AND even vegans! 🤭👏🏼

Okay also, I’m just gonna leave this here:
To me, it’s clear it’s a good restaurant when you ask for your egg to be “well done” “not runny” and it ACTUALLY comes out perfect.
No one seems to be able to get that right.
So thank you. So impressed.

Also waitress was so nice, pleasant and polite.

Do yourself a favor and don’t drive all the way to Denver with city traffic and wait times for real Korean food. This is the place we’ve been waiting for! 🤩🙌🏼🙌🏼🙏🏼🤗

Got the unlimited BBQ. I definitely recommend it. It includes a lot of delicious food - not just the meats! Our server, Allen, was very attentive. Ask for him if available. We’ll definitely be back.

We love coming to Dae Gee! The food is amazing and the portions are just right. The service is wonderful, our server tonight was Allen and he was so kind and quick with whatever we needed. We love to recommend this restaurant!

Waiting at register for 10 minutes. No one came. Dish washer saw us did not say a thing.

Ordered for pick up later in the day. Food was ok but i think it was expensive for the quality. There was a family came in before us which was 45 minutes before posted closing time but they refused to take them because they said the kitchen is closing up. Seriously??, kitchen closing 45 minutes before closing time!

Edit. Second visit was not as good as the first one several months ago. Slower service on a not very busy weekend night. Food tasted different and lacked flavor. Precooked meats were tasteless, dry, and very fatty. Lots of flies inside. Was hoping they would have tables with the hot plate like other locations and we weee role would be coming “very soon” after our first visit about 4 months ago.

I will definitely NOT be returning here a third time.

Original 5 star review that the second visit didn’t meet the expectations of…:

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the meats and sides. Have a few favorites and didn’t need to use their hot sauces but they were all also very tasty. The food sizzling next to me was great and watching the brisket cook trying not to let it overcook was a little fun too. Will definitely get the spare ribs next time too.

The food, all of it was so well seasoned and flavorful with a good level of spicy (though I like it hotter, the sauce helped some there). All of which is typically hard to find in Castle Rock restaurants. Definitely returning to this location.
