I'm from South Texas, so pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. From the moment I walked in at lunch time, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. I ordered the #2 lunch special and it was pretty good! The rice and flour tortillas were not my favorite, BUT, everything else was great, including the chips & salsa! It was busy, but they were on it!!! Thank you for providing good food at a great price, and with a friendly smile!

It does not hit the mark of a great Mexican restaurant.
1) Carne Machaca ( shredded beef) has very little flavor
2) Carnitas (slow roasted pork shoulder) taste like it’s bought ready to to go
3) Green Chili is so mediocre
4) Guacito or Avocado Tomatillo sauce is not refrigerated well and can put you on the toilet for a while. These restaurants are serving fermenting salsa by leaving it out. Just leave it in the darn refrigerator guys or on ice and throw them away if left out. After a two day preparation of salsa is refrigerated make new! Use plenty of lime to help preserve. There are more people experiencing this stomach problem but not reporting it.
5) Salsa Negra is good but not refrigerated well.
6) They use so much rice as filler too often in burritos.
7) Their fried tacos are pre-bought shells.
The street tacos are good especially the Al Pastor and Carne Asada. The carne asada could be great if they tried.
Beans are full of lard and bad on the stomach as well.
I tried 6 times in two weeks straight to see if a good taco place. Moving on.

Low key Mexican restaurant with excellent food. We stopped for breakfast and got a breakfast burrito and tacos with corn tortillas (no breakfast tacos - guess it's a Texas thing). Definitely worth the stop.

My first time in Dos Amigos. Excellent food, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff. My mom and I ordered chile rellenos and tacos and they are, by far, one of the best!

Muy bueno! An excellent restaurant with high quality food and great service. The chips and salsa were gratis and not too spicy, the horchata was delicioso!! And the view from the front window was spectacular!
Parking: Limited parking but not terrible.
