Random stop in Castle Rock landed me at Guadalajara Mexicana de Familia. The restaurant had very nice staff and my enchiladas hit the spot. I will definitely be back.

We have been coming here for 15 or more years. The inside may be a bit grungy looking in spots but overall it's clean. The staff is always super friendly and do a good job at keeping up drinks and refills on tortilla chips if needed. Just a heads up that the mole sauce is very sweet, but tasty. Personally I'm not a fan of the enchilada sauce but there are plenty of others to take it's place!

We got the “salsa” with the chip and it taste just like can tomato sauce with some onions 🤮 we ordered aguas frescas and they brought us aguas de la maquina! I ordered a carne asada and the steak was smelling like old meat 🤮 all the plates of my family had can tomato sauce! The food is not good at all and the service was poor. Prices are way too high. No recommend at all!

We got the “salsa” with the chip and it taste just like can tomato sauce with some onions. Not good at all! I ordered the cheese smothered burrito it was can cheese. My daughter ordered the shredded beef tacos and they came in a hard shell first off then the meat was marinated in some kind of tomato based flavor. The lettuce one top of the tacos was salad mix with shredded carrots and came with sliced tomatoes. Now mind you my burrito had diced tomatoes on top.The beans and rice were actually good.

We had an early dinner during happy hour and were seated in a booth, even though more desirable tables were available. We ordered house margaritas, and when ordering a second round, I asked if we were still within happy hour. The waitress curtly told us we should have specified that our first round was a happy hour margarita. According to my receipt, happy hour margaritas are $7.50; and were not as good as a regular priced margarita.
The fajita menu iincludes mushrooms in all options, but they are canned, which was disappointing. The tortillas are store-bought and not grilled before serving—they seemed microwaved. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations for either service or food quality.
